Lee, annoyed by her arrogance, could only stammer, "Madam, please wait. The central bank takes time."

Lee trembled, pointing at Elaine. "This lady…"

The police ignored him, addressing Elaine, "What's your name?"

Elaine was shocked. Had Charlie called the police? Was it illegal for a mother-in-law to take money from her son-in-law?

The police repeated, "What's your name?!"

"I… I… Elaine Ma…" she stammered.
