After listening to Charlie Wade, Claire Wilson smiled and said, "Okay, you don't need to worry about where I go; my husband will arrange it."

"Great!" Claire exclaimed happily. "Then I can wait for you to arrange it!"

After hanging up, Elaine Ma flatteringly said, "See? I didn't lie, did I?"

Charlie hummed, then called Mr. White.

"Master Wade! What a pleasure," Mr. White said.

Charlie said calmly, "Zeke, my wife loves gardening. I'm converting half of Thompson First Villa into a vegetable garden. Find me the best vegetable and fruit varieties—already grown, bearing fruit, with vines, seedlings, and roots—ready for transplanting to Thompson First."

Mr. White exclaimed, "Master Wade, don't worry! Even a whole vegetable shed, I can get for you!"

Charlie said, "Okay, start today. Be at Thompson First's transplanting plant tonight; I want my wife to see it tomorrow morning!"

Mr. White smiled. "Master Wade, you truly love your wife! I'll make the arrangements!"

Elaine Ma was thrilled. Charlie was incredibly persuasive; a simple phone call, and someone diligently arranged a vegetable garden for him! She'd thought he'd blow up sooner or later, but he seemed to be doing better and better.

Suddenly, a familiar voice rang out: "Oh! Isn't this my dear daughter-in-law? On crutches? Quite a sight, I must say!"

Elaine Ma's face turned ugly. Without looking, she knew it was her mother-in-law, Lady Wilson. Turning, she was shocked. Lady Wilson, Christopher, and the two boys—weren't they supposed to be detained? And Hannah? Wasn't she sent to the black coal mine by Charlie's friend?

Charlie turned, frowning at Hannah's unexpected presence. Don Albertt was usually reliable; what went wrong?

Hannah was a secret between Charlie, Elaine, and Claire. Although Claire and Elaine knew about Hannah's gambling losses, they didn't know she'd been sent to the coal mine. They assumed she'd run away. Hannah's return worried Charlie.

Elaine Ma, never one to be outdone, retorted, "Who are you? Trying to invade our villa? Don't you remember your last trip to the detention center? I'll call the police!"

Harold angrily interrupted Elaine Ma's tirade, "Elaine Ma, look at your hideous mug! Your missing front teeth make you sound like you're leaking water! What are you doing?"

Elaine Ma was reminded of Zhao Benshan's Moore Dandan character, whose appearance now mirrored her own. Enraged, she pulled out her phone. "I'll call the police and report you for trespassing! You'll be locked up longer this time!"

Lady Wilson sneered, "Elaine Ma, do you think you're the only one who can afford Thompson First?"

Elaine Ma snorted, "Of course! Unless you're a dead old woman, you can't afford Thompson First. I'd kick you out!"

Lady Wilson laughed, "Oh, Elaine Ma, you haven't changed a bit. I want to test the durability of your skull!" She produced a key. "Thompson First A04 is mine. We're neighbors now!"

"I pooh!" Elaine Ma scoffed. "You old hag, you can barely eat, and you bought A04? Did you sell Wendy to some rich man? What rich man would pay that much for Wendy's charms?"

Wendy pointed angrily, "Elaine Ma, who are you talking about?"

Elaine Ma retorted, "You! I don't know who's sleeping with an old man, then yells at me!"

Wendy, furious, lunged, but Lady Wilson restrained her. "Wendy, don't bother with her. She's pathetic." She then addressed the others, "Let's go clean our villa. What's the point of arguing with such a person?"

They spat at Elaine Ma's feet and swaggered off. Elaine Ma, disbelieving they owned A04, cursed, "You're not getting away with this! Security will be after you soon."

Hannah turned, her eyes menacing. "Elaine Ma, don't forget our unfinished business!"

Chapter 1088

Elaine Ma retorted, "I'm not afraid of you! My son-in-law will send you back to the coal mine!"

Hannah glared, ready to respond, when Lady Wilson opened A04's door, waving her key. "Elaine Ma, you were going to screw off my head and kick it? Go ahead, try."

Elaine Ma was speechless. How could the Wilsons, supposedly penniless, afford a Thompson First villa?

She looked at Charlie, "Charlie Wade, what's going on? Didn't your friend send them to the black coal mine? Why is Hannah back?"

Charlie was surprised. He called Don Albertt, "The person I sent to the coal mine why is she back?"

Don Albertt was surprised. "Master Wade, someone bought the coal mine for three times the market price."

Charlie realized, "The Webb family, right?"

"Yes!" Don Albertt said, "The Southern Webb Family! Should I handle it?"

Charlie said indifferently, "No. They haven't officially acted yet. Don't worry about it."

Don Albertt said guiltily, "Master Wade, I failed to supervise. Please punish me! I'll arrest Hannah!"

"No need," Charlie said. "Let her stay." He then asked about the Weaver family father and son, who'd been digging ginseng in Golim Mountain.

Don Albertt assured him they were still in Golim Mountain, guarded by his and Liam's men.

Charlie said, "The Webb family is probably looking for my enemies. Keep them safe. Don't let the Weaver family be taken away!"

Liam feared his father and brother's return most. If the Webb family rescued them, they'd try to retake Weaver Pharmaceuticals, a multi-billion dollar company.

They were ecstatic, especially Lady Wilson, who found A04 far more luxurious than she’d ever imagined. Standing on the terrace, they could see Elaine Ma and Charlie gardening in their yard. Lady Wilson smirked, "It seems Elaine Ma is planting flowers. I'll steal some."
