Chapter 1917

Don Albertt's key points quickly convinced Elaine Ma. Recalling the three women in prison, she still felt a lingering fear, a psychological shadow.

Don Albertt looked at her and said seriously, "Ms. Ma, you avoided this scammer's tricks. That's a significant improvement. Otherwise, a life sentence would have made you a human sandbag for Caroline Wells's subordinates."

Elaine Ma was shocked. "My goodness! That's incredibly dangerous! Thank goodness I was vigilant. Otherwise, those three women would have tormented me for decades!"

Don Albertt turned to Cynthia, saying coldly, "Caroline Wells, Interpol from over twenty countries is seeking your extradition to China. You're arguably the biggest fraudster in history. We're sending you to Interpol headquarters in Vienna for trial. The country that prosecutes you will depend on where you committed the most serious crimes."

Cynthia's spirit crumbled. She felt she'd fallen into a surreal world where no one believed her. Confused by the name Caroline Wells, she was branded a transnational scammerโ€”the biggest in history! This was absurd.

Suspecting a conspiracy, she shouted, "I doubt your identity! Prove you're Interpol! Show me your credentials!"

Don Albertt sneered. "Trying to fight back now that you're trapped? You won't escape this time, Caroline Wells!"

He ordered his men, "Handcuff her and get her on the helicopter!"

"Yes!" Several men in black handcuffed Cynthia and escorted her out.

Don Albertt said coldly, "Caroline Wells is a serious offender. Hood her."

"Yes!" A black cloth covered Cynthia's head.

Elaine Ma, still on the ground with a broken leg, shouted, "Comrade Interpol, sentence her to death! Don't let her harm anyone else!"

Don Albertt replied calmly, "Don't worry; she'll receive a fair trial."

He then addressed his other subordinates, "Take Webb away. We strongly suspect him of cross-border money laundering. We've wanted to arrest him for a while."

Donald panicked. "Cross-border money laundering? I've always conducted legitimate business. I've never committed any illegal acts!"

Don Albertt slapped him. "You're in denial? Do you know what nasty things your brother-in-law has done?"

Donald exclaimed, "My brother-in-law's actions are not my responsibility!"
