Chapter 2061

In the western suburbs of Tokyo, on Panshan Road in West Domo County, two men in black watched from above the cliff where Jasmine had fallen. Far below, a fire burned. One whispered, "The people in the car should be dead, right?"

The other sneered, "A fall from that height, with a fire? If that doesn't kill them, I'll chop off your head."

The first man laughed. "In that case, we can return to Mr. Hashimoto."

His companion nodded. "Let's clean up the scene first. Remove all impact debris, glass, and tire marks. We need to ensure no one sees evidence of an accident by dawn."

"Good."

Several men in black immediately began clearing the area. Their leader pulled out his cell phone and called Hashimoto Kensen. "Mr. Hashimoto, things are almost done. We'll evacuate once the scene is cleared."

Hashimoto immediately asked, "Is the woman dead? Have you identified the body?"

The man laughed. "Can't confirm. This cliff is several hundred meters high. Even Amaterasu herself would be finished after a fall like that."

Hashimoto smacked his lips. "Without seeing the body, I'm still uneasy."

The man said, "Mr. Hashimoto, the car and the person rolled to the bottom. From up here, the car is completely burned. Even Amaterasu would be ashes by now. Relax."

Hashimoto Konzen complained, "Why do you keep joking about Amaterasu? Have you no fear?"

The man chuckled into the phone. "Fear? I'm a man of many sins. If Amaterasu really existed, she'd have killed me long ago. My continued existence proves there's no god!"

Hashimoto Konzen said helplessly, "Okay, okay. Just make sure she's dead. I trust you completely."

The man hummed. "The final payment will be sent to my house. Remember, I want old, un-serialized bills."

Hashimoto replied, "No problem. I'll send it tomorrow morning!"

"Okay, I'll hang up then!"

Meanwhile, in the valley below, Jasmine struggled to walk. She was lost and unsure how to escape the mountain, but her immediate goal was simple: to move farther into the valley before attempting to climb out. Encountering her pursuers again would be disastrous.

Surprisingly, over the past ten minutes, she felt increasingly better. The pain from her injuries had subsided, and her body no longer felt seriously injured. She felt a powerful energy coursing through her, improving her condition and filling her with inexhaustible power.
