Chapter 166

Charlie Wade said coldly, “That’s your lifeline. Jack is using the good deeds you’ve accumulated, sacrificing your life for the rest of the Quinton family!”

Graham, shocked by Charlie’s words, froze. Adam anxiously watched the surrounding masters. A collective gasp arose as they realized Graham wouldn’t live past three days.

Adam knelt, pleading, “Mr. Yaleman! Please save my uncle!”

Jack sneered, “I’ve appeased the evil spirit. You should thank me.”

Aurora paled, biting her lip. She knelt before Charlie, pleading, “Mr. Wade, please help my father…”

Charlie replied indifferently, “The Quintons chose Mr. Yaleman, not me. Why should I help now?”

Aurora’s eyes welled. “Mr. Wade, save my father, and I’ll fulfill any request…”

Charlie laughed. “I want nothing from you…”

Graham rushed to Charlie, kneeling and weeping, “Mr. Wade, I was blinded! Adam misled me…” He slapped Adam, who dodged a second blow.

Desperate, Aurora grabbed Charlie’s legs, begging, “Mr. Wade, please save my father!”

Charlie sighed, “Okay, you can get up. He’s safe.”

Doubtful, Graham held his stun talisman. “Is this amulet working?”

Charlie replied, “Yes, the red line on your hand should be fading. Mr. Yaleman needs to try harder.”

Graham saw the fading line, relieved. “Thank you, Mr. Wade! Without you…”

Charlie waved his hand. “You’re lucky you had the amulet. Otherwise, I could do nothing.”

Turning to Jack, Charlie said, “The result is clear. Aren’t you going to admit defeat?”

Adam approached Charlie, kneeling in apology.

Jack’s face turned blue. He glared, “You won because of that talisman? I wanted to spare your life, but you’re persistent! One last chance: hand over the clam and apologize!”

Jack had no choice; losing meant his elaborate plan would fail. But his final gambit could kill everyone if he mismanaged his power.

Charlie stared, “And if I refuse?”

“You forced my hand!” Jack grabbed a black porcelain jar.

Mosquitoes swarmed from the jar, landing on the food and devouring it.

Jasmine exclaimed, “Is Mr. Yaleman raising insects?”

The mosquitoes continued their feast. The masters murmured in confusion. The eaten meat changed color, and smaller black insects emerged.

Chapter 167

Within five minutes, all the food rotted, teeming with black insects. Even a rooster, raised from a chick in the White family yard, was attacked. In seconds, it convulsed and died, soon releasing more mosquitoes.

The sky filled with mosquitoes, a chaotic whirlwind. They were toxic and could penetrate skin wounds. Though small, their bites were excruciating, causing immediate swelling.

The masters used their magic, throwing amulets and chanting. Some hid, others jumped into the pool.

Jasmine, shocked, asked, “What is this?”

Someone exclaimed, “These mosquitoes were raised from a child’s corpse! I can’t believe Mr. Yaleman would do this!”

Jack laughed. “They’re from a dead fetus! Since you disrespect me, I’ll teach you a lesson!”

The old man bitten by the mosquitoes swelled and collapsed. Jasmine panicked. But she noticed no insects near Charlie. As the mosquitoes neared him, they turned to black coal.

Charlie sneered, walking towards Jack, unhindered, holding a white clam shell—the Thundering Order talisman. It glowed faintly, edged with thunder.

Jack was stunned. “Why… what’s happening? How is this possible?” Charlie seemed surrounded by a halo. “This is impossible!” Jack yelled.

Charlie sneered, “Undefeatable? I’ll show you true power!” He yelled, “Rumble!”

A deafening boom echoed. Thunder roared, dark clouds gathered overhead. The sky darkened instantly.

Finn was speechless. Everyone shared the same shocked expression. Graham murmured, “A miracle!”

Lightning struck the insects, turning them to coal. Tables and chairs splintered, trees fell, a burning smell filled the air. Charlie stood calmly, lightning flashing around him like a descending god. Wind howled, rain cleansed the courtyard.

Chapter 168

“He’s not human! He’s a god!”

“Don’t let the lightning strike me! I’ll apologize to Mr. Wade!”

Guests knelt, bowing before Charlie. Graham was frozen in shock. The lightning only struck the insects.

Jack was terrified. He was an ant compared to Charlie. He fled.

“Trying to escape?” Charlie grinned, extending his hand. “Thunder, fall!”

Thunder roared, lightning striking the jar in Jack’s hand. He fell, screaming in agony.

“Mr. Wade… Master… spare my life!”

Charlie approached, his face cold. “Using the remains of an unborn child? This is an unforgivable crime! Heaven punishes the devil! Do you accept your punishment?”

Jack could only stare, mouth agape, enduring the lightning. Why was there such a terrifying presence in Aurouss Hill?

Lightning repeatedly struck Jack until he was incinerated, a foul smell pervading the courtyard.

Charlie waved his hand, stopping the storm. The wind swept away the remains. He looked serene.

Everyone was speechless. They realized Charlie’s mercy had spared them.

“Mr. Wade, you… you are a god!” Graham trembled, worshipping Charlie. Zeke also knelt, begging forgiveness.

Finn declared, “Mr. Wade should lead the metaphysics circle!” Everyone agreed.

Chapter 169

Everyone previously fought for leadership, but now eagerly sought Charlie’s guidance. They'd never seen such power. They witnessed Jack’s fate and wanted Charlie’s protection.

Charlie frowned. “I’m not a member of the metaphysics circle. I don’t study Feng Shui. I hope you’ll let Finn lead.”

Everyone’s jaws dropped. He'd summoned lightning but had no interest in metaphysics?

A wave of respect washed over them.

Finn said respectfully, “It’s an honor to serve under you, Mr. Wade. I’ll manage the circle, seeking your guidance only on major issues.”

Travis offered Charlie an eighty million dollar bonus. Matthew also thanked him. The crowd offered gifts and money.

Finn announced a 150 million dollar prize for the winner (Charlie).

Zeke begged forgiveness, offering Charlie a vacation home as a gesture of repentance.

Charlie considered. A vacation home was insignificant, but his family needed better living conditions. He accepted, warning Zeke against future transgressions.

Chapter 170

Zeke rejoiced. Charlie then turned to Graham, “Did you believe I lied to cheat the Quintons?”

Graham apologized. He then forced Adam to apologize to Charlie.

Adam trembled, fearing Charlie’s wrath. Aurora also apologized for her brother's actions.

Charlie, seeing their remorse, forgave them, warning them against repeating their mistakes.

Jasmine was stunned. She’d always underestimated Charlie, but now saw his immense power.

Charlie addressed the crowd sternly, “Don’t reveal what happened today! Keep it secret! Anyone who leaks this faces Jack Yaleman's fate!”

The guests were shocked by his request for secrecy. They bowed, agreeing to obey. Charlie dismissed them.
