Chapter 351

Just as Claire Wilson sensed a significant change in Charlie Wade, Kenneth, having slipped away from the hall, returned with four bodyguards. These four were his most capable, each possessing exceptional strength and combat skills. He believed they could easily kill Charlie Wade. However, he didn't want to kill Charlie in front of the crowd. His plan was to force Charlie to kneel and call him "grandfather" before everyone. After restoring his honor, he would then mutilate Charlie. Later, he would find another opportunity to eliminate Charlie. His goal was simply to unleash his pent-up rage, believing only killing Charlie would alleviate his humiliation. He hadn't felt so degraded in his fifty-plus years.

Bursting into the hall with his bodyguards, Kenneth pointed at Charlie and shouted, "I'll give one million dollars to whoever breaks his genitals!"

The large sum was tempting. At Kenneth's words, the bodyguards' faces hardened as they simultaneously charged Charlie.

Claire Wilson screamed in terror, trying to pull Charlie away, but he remained motionless. Escape? Never! He was Charlie Wade; he wouldn't be intimidated. He'd mastered his combat skills and was confident of victory.

The bodyguards saw Charlie as a walking jackpot, fearing they'd be too slow. They lunged ferociously.

Charlie smiled, his eyes tracking their movements. He patiently waited for their attack to obliterate them.

The fastest bodyguard took the lead, sneering, "You're tired of living, kid! Messing with Chairman Wilson? I'll kill you!"

Before his words fully registered, the bodyguard was upon Charlie. Just as everyone expected Charlie to be beaten, he swiftly countered, kicking the bodyguard in the chest.

Bam!

The nearly six-foot bodyguard flew backward, fourteen ribs broken with a single blow—over half his ribcage. He hit the ground, blood spurting from his mouth, a pathetic sight.

The remaining three bodyguards caught up, all rushing Charlie, desperate for the million-dollar reward. They hadn't anticipated such a powerful attack and were instantly knocked to the ground.

"Wow!!!" The onlookers gasped. No one expected such a powerful kick. One woman exclaimed, "He's like Ip Man!"

Charlie sneered, "Ip Man? Even ten Ip Mans couldn't compare to me, Charlie Wade!" He wasn't boasting. While Ip Man was strong, he was still human. Charlie, however, had honed his skills and strengthened his body with spiritual power. No ordinary human could match him.

The first bodyguard had lost consciousness. The remaining three lay groaning, suffering multiple fractures.

Chapter 352

The bodyguards stared at Charlie in horror. Three of them attacking at once, defeated by a single man? Their combat effectiveness had vanished! This young man was a god!

Charlie approached them, his expression cold. "You enjoy being dogs, so I'll ensure you crawl for the rest of your lives!"

He stepped on one bodyguard's right leg.

Break! The kneecap shattered. He crushed the left kneecap as well.

The other two bodyguards trembled in terror. They cried and begged for mercy.

Charlie responded coldly, "You're criminals, cruel to others but terrified when hurt. If I let you go, you'll continue harming the weak. I must stop you for the sake of others!"

Despite their pleas, he crushed all their kneecaps.

Break! Break! Break! Three more men were crippled.

The onlookers were shocked by Charlie's ruthlessness. Kenneth and Wendy trembled with fear. Kenneth never imagined Charlie would be so powerful, so easily defeating his elite bodyguards. He'd utterly destroyed them—professional fighters, one a national champion just a few years prior. Kenneth felt faint and cold. He turned to flee; he couldn't fall into Charlie's hands.

Suddenly, someone shouted, "Old man! Trying to escape after provoking Mr. Wade?"

The crowd parted as Don Albert entered with men, stopping before Kenneth. Kenneth looked at him, worried. "Whowho are you?"

Slap! Albert slapped him without answering. Five fingerprints burned on Kenneth's face. Kenneth sputtered, "Who do you think you are? I'm the Chamber of Commerce chairman!"

Slap! Another slap. "Chairman? I don't care! Disrespecting Mr. Wade is courting death!"

Kenneth, furious but terrified, stammered, "Misunderstanding! A misunderstanding! I'm leaving!"

Albert sneered, "Have you asked Mr. Wade's permission?"

Kenneth turned to Charlie, begging, "Mr. Wade, it's a misunderstanding! They attacked you, I couldn't stop them! They got what they deserved! Please let me go!"

Charlie smiled, "Of course. I've let you go once." He added, "But what must you do to earn your freedom? Shall I instruct you?"

Chapter 353

Contemptuous laughter echoed. Kenneth was a crybaby, having called Charlie "daddy" three times in minutes. Was this the dignified Modestway Group chairman? He was an embarrassment. But survival was paramount. He had to live to use his…equipment. He crawled to Charlie, begging, "Father, forgive me! I'll be forever in your debt!"

Charlie waved his hand, "You should have called me father sooner. It's too late now."

Kenneth was stunned, thinking Charlie was toying with him. He frantically pleaded, tears streaming down his face.

Charlie looked at the stunned Wendy, "Wendy Wilson, your sugar daddy is on his knees. Why are you still standing?"

Startled, Wendy mumbled, "Whatwhat do you mean?"

Kenneth yanked Wendy to her knees, "Are you crazy? You must kneel before my father!"

His survival instinct overrode pride. This was his only chance.

Wendy knelt like a statue, afraid to move or speak. Kenneth eyed Charlie desperately, "Father, are you satisfied?"

Charlie shook his head. "Not really."

Kenneth's heart pounded. "What can I do to satisfy you?"

Charlie smirked, "Call me 'Grandpa.' If I like it, I'll consider letting you go."

Kenneth wished he could die. He'd made a terrible mistake.

He was defeated, on his knees, had wet himself, and now had to call Charlie "Grandpa"—the ultimate humiliation.

Seeing his hesitation, Charlie asked coldly, "Why? You don't want to?"

Kenneth trembled, "Yes, yes, I do!"

He knocked his head on the floor, wailing, "Grandpa! I'm sorry, please forgive me!"

Charlie frowned. "That's 17."

Kenneth sobbed, "You're my grandpa."

"And who are you?"

"I'm your grandson"

Charlie nodded slyly. He never expected to be a grandpa so young.

Kenneth breathed a sigh of relief, about to stand when…

"Wait!" Charlie stopped him. "Leaving like that? Don't you have something to say first?"

Chapter 354

Kenneth bit his lip, enduring humiliation and rage, and politely said, "Grandfather, may I go now?"

Charlie patted his cheek, "Okay. Go now, my dear grandson!"

Tears of humiliation streamed down Kenneth's face as he left trembling. Wendy followed swiftly, fearing Charlie would stop them again. But Charlie had lost interest. Kenneth's…equipment was permanently damaged, dooming him to misery.

After they left, Albert rushed to Charlie, "Master Wade, I'm sorry I'm late. I'll accept any penalty for my negligence."

Charlie waved his hand, "Why are you here? Aren't you in construction and décor? Are you involved here, too?"

"Yes!" Albert laughed. "I'm the largest cement and sand supplier in Aurous Hill, the middleman in construction. So, they invited me."

Charlie understood Albert's underworld connection in the construction industry's gray area. He said, "Don't do anything harmful. Stop harassing honest people."

Albert smiled sheepishly, "Yes, Master Wade. I've gone straight. I wouldn't dare do those things now…"

Charlie nodded approvingly. Albert gestured to the injured bodyguards, "Master Wade, what about them?"

"The unconscious one, break his leg and throw him out. Throw them far enough not to bother me!"

Albert nodded and ordered his men, "Didn't you hear Master Wade? Get to it!"

The men bowed, "Yes, Master Wade!" They broke the collapsed man's leg and dragged the four men out.

Kenneth, without his bodyguards, drove Wendy to the hospital for her facial injury and then back to the Wilson family home, seething with rage.

Wendy gritted her teeth, "Dear! That loser, Charlie Wade, dared to lay hands on you!"

Kenneth's eyes were cold, "Naturally! I'll kill him! I'll skin him alive and break every bone! No one dares treat me like this!"

Wendy smiled wickedly. Her hatred for Charlie reached its peak. She bet he wouldn't live long once Kenneth targeted him.

Wendy said coolly, "Dear, take me with you. I want to see him beg for mercy!"

Kenneth pounded the seat, "I'll grind that bastard to dust!"

Wendy knew with Kenneth's wealth and connections, eliminating Charlie would be easy. They'd lost today only because they lacked manpower. Would Charlie survive next time? He'd be dead!

She leaned toward Kenneth, "Dear, don't be so angry. It's bad for you. When we get home, I'll make you happy…"

Chapter 355

Kenneth was furious, and Wendy was a convenient outlet for his rage.

Back at the Wilson family suite, Kenneth rushed upstairs with Wendy, ignoring Christopher, Hannah, and Lady Wilson. An awkward silence filled the living room.

Lady Wilson cleared her throat, "You should be grateful Kenneth likes Wendy. Stop overthinking it."

Christopher nodded hesitantly, "Mom, I'm not overthinking. I just feel uncomfortable."

Lady Wilson scoffed, "What's uncomfortable? You're profiting! The five million Kenneth gave Wendy—is it in your hands?"

"Yes, Mom."

Lady Wilson sighed, softening her tone, "See? If Wendy and Kenneth get closer, he might give you fifty million! Think about it."

Relief washed over Christopher. Their acceptance of the relationship was purely about money. Kenneth had invested ten million in the Wilson Group and given Wendy five million. It was just the beginning; more would come.

His anxiety vanished. He pulled his wife to their room, excitedly saying, "Honey, remember that house in Thompson First? We can buy it now with Wendy's five million and our savings!"

"No, I don't want to live in the ordinary area. Jacob Wilson and that loser will be in the suite area."

"Hmm, what about this? We'll ask Wendy to convince Kenneth for a few more million. We'll have enough for a down payment on a villa!"

While Thompson First villas were expensive, other villas weren't as costly. A single-family villa was typically twenty to thirty million. Even with a forty percent down payment, they'd have enough. Improvements and furnishings were a large expense, requiring another three to five million, which they couldn't afford. Kenneth's additional funding could solve that.

Hannah squealed, "Do you think Kenneth will give us more?"

Christopher laughed, "I think so. He seems quite keen on Wendy, don't you think?"

Hannah nodded gleefully, "He's much better than that bastard Gerald. Wendy aborted a child for him, and he never gave her any money!"

Christopher sighed furiously, "Yes! The White family are crooks!"

Hannah waved her hand in contempt, "Ignore them. Let's talk about the villa. Let's drive around tomorrow and look!"

"Okay! Let's go to Golden Crown Park. I heard their villas are nice!"

As they discussed villas, violent sounds erupted from upstairs.
