Ollie noticed Leon brimming with confidence, clearly determined to reclaim control of the situation. Ollie thought about saying something but ultimately decided against it. He wanted to suggest to Leon that Phoebe might still have more tricks up her sleeve. However, they had no way of predicting what those tricks might be. It could very well be the same horoscope-based PR move Leon had anticipated. But if it wasn’t what Leon predicted, they’d have no idea what to expect.

Now, there was no turning back, and saying anything wouldn’t make a difference. “Alright, I’ll be watching,” Ollie said, preparing to closely monitor the upcoming battle.

As they spoke, Joshua stormed in, clearly furious. Ollie asked, “What’s gotten into you?”

Joshua, still fuming, replied, “What is Phoebe even doing? She just signed the person I hate the most!” Recently, Joshua attempted to contact Phoebe several times. To his surprise, she blocked his number and his social media accounts. He had even borrowed a friend’s phone to call her, but the moment she heard his voice, she hung up without letting him say a word. Joshua had been irritated about this already. But Phoebe’s recent actions had made him even angrier.

Ollie wanted to pinch the bridge of his nose. “You’re missing the point.” Joshua was always focused on songwriting and lacked sensitivity to other things. Sure enough, Joshua asked in confusion, “What point?”

Leon was exasperated and said, “The point isn’t what Phoebe’s trying to do. She’s doing this on purpose just to irritate us.” Leon wondered why his younger brothers were all so clueless. Joshua was still puzzled. “Why would she do that?”

Leon couldn’t hold back. “You’ve definitely caught some of the stupidity from Jamar. You two are a bunch of morons.” He was too tired to even explain. They were from the same family, yet Phoebe was so much smarter than these two.

Joshua was upset and shot back, “Leon, you’re the moron. I’ve been focused on writing songs lately and haven’t kept up with anything outside.” Not only was Leon sharp, but he was also getting meaner.

Leon chuckled. “Even if you hadn’t been shut away from writing, you’d still be this way.” Among them, Jamar was the least intelligent, Cain was the most impulsive, and Joshua was just plain dim-witted.

Leon couldn’t help but turn to Ollie with a sigh, saying, “Ollie, we are the only two carrying the family.” The other three were a lost cause, just deadweight they couldn’t rely on.

Ollie couldn’t help but laugh. “Alright, that’s enough.” More arguments could hurt their bond. After all, their younger brothers did have their pride. Joshua understood the subtle mockery in Leon’s words as if they were somehow holding him back. He smirked. “If you didn’t go all out and hire online trolls to attack Phoebe, she would never go against us. And she’s ignoring us too.” He scoffed again. “Leon, don’t get too cocky. Otherwise, you’ll suffer the consequences.”

Bron was rendered speechless by Joshua’s remark. He was already irritated, and now he felt drained. “I can’t deal with you right now. I can’t even communicate with you at all.”

Joshua retorted, “What happened to your manners, Leon?” Leon donned a cold smile. Joshua huffed. “Can’t communicate with someone like you, who’s always scheming.” With that, he stormed out, slamming the door behind him.

Leon felt even more frustrated. “Joshua and Jamar really are the pain in the ass.” Ollie patted Leon on the shoulder. “Just get used to it and let it go.” He had never expected much from these two younger brothers.

Leon shrugged. “I guess I just have to let them be.” They were his brothers, and he couldn’t do anything to change that.

Instead of heading back to his office, Ollie decided to stay and watch how things unfolded. He asked, “Do you think Ms. Davis will respond on…”

Leon replied, “It’s hard to say. She dislikes unethical artists the most, so she probably won’t.” But given how Phoebe had repeatedly embarrassed him lately, he wasn’t so sure anymore.

After thinking it over, Ollie said, “I think there’s an 80% chance she will.” Leon questioned, “What makes you so sure?”

Ollie explained, “Because Phoebe wouldn’t do something pointless. I believe she must have discussed with Ms. Davis before posting.” He had realized that Phoebe was not only smart but also had a knack for strategizing.

Leon didn’t want to admit it. “Is she really that capable!” Just then, Ollie checked his phone and saw a new tweet. “See?”

Adriana’s post said: [Very glad to be working with you!] She tagged Phoebe and Gwen. After reading it, Leon felt like a weight was stuck in his chest, a frustration he just couldn’t shake off.

Leon said, “Ollie, you really know her well…” Ollie replied, “You’re underestimating her. Leon, you can’t keep judging Phoebe by your past views. Otherwise, you’ll end up losing again.” They had underestimated Phoebe before, which had led to repeated humiliations. They had to learn their lessons.

Leon said, “I won’t underestimate her again, but I won’t lose to her either.” Phoebe challenged him in a way that sparked all his competitive spirit. Ollie nodded and said nothing more.

Once Adriana’s response went public, the industry was taken aback. They couldn’t understand why Adriana would collaborate with Gwen and treat Phoebe so kindly. It couldn’t just be because Phoebe was a Jenkins. After all, when Adriana was upset, she wouldn’t even tolerate the Jenkins brothers, let alone hang out with them. Therefore, Tron assumed Adriana wouldn’t extend such courtesy to a Jenkins daughter who had a falling out. Yet, he was wrong, and he couldn’t figure out why.

On the other side, despite feeling frustrated, the Jenkins Entertainment team retracted their planned strategies. They ordered the netizens to ramp up the negative comments. This time, they not only insulted Owen’s character, calling for her to leave the industry, but they also targeted Phoebe. They claimed that Phoebe, by signing someone like Gwen, must also be a homewrecker herself. They also claimed it was the reason why Reece supported Sienna and not Phoebe. It was clear she had poor morals behind the scenes, leading her to align with someone like Gwen.

They accused Phoebe of declaring war on the entire entertainment industry and the fans. Anyone siding with homewreckers should just be driven out of the industry too. Fans of Gwen’s ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend shifted their focus to attack Phoebe on her Twitter with insults. Even Gwen’s haters came over to join in on the incitement. However, Phoebe and Maddox’s fans stood firm, refusing to believe she was that kind of person, insisting there had to be more to the story. Gwen’s fans also chimed in, claiming their idol had been wronged a year ago. It was someone else who had cheated. The one who had been wronged had now been turned into the villain.

Although Gwen’s fanbase was smaller, they still made a compelling case, not getting drowned out by the insults. Naturally, Brian was the one who led the team to control the situation and influence public opinion. “Phoebe signs unethical artist” and “Phoebe should leave the entertainment industry” quickly trended.
