Hearing the murmur, Reece glanced at Sienna. “Not like this? Like what?”
Sienna seemed weird to Reece. Sienna looked at Reece. “I shouldn’t have become so…”
Reece frowned. “Then who?”
Rationality restrained Sienna from cursing at Phoebe impulsively. Her eyes reddened as she said, “When I went down the stairs, I was not myself. My bracelet suddenly broke, and I stepped on the onyx stones against my will. I shouldn’t have fallen down the stairs. I was targeted.”
Sienna firmly believed that Phoebe was the culprit. Sue felt the loss of her luck. To make things worse, her leg was broken, and her face was disfigured. “I won’t let Phoebe off easily,” she promised herself.
The viewers knew that Phoebe was an expert in horoscopes and metaphysics. Sienna intended to make Phoebe take the blame. “If my plan works, nobody will make friends with such a dangerous and evil figure,” she thought.
Joshua was aghast. “By whom?”
“I was right next to you when you fell down the steps. Apart from you and me, nobody was there.”
He misunderstood Sienna. Sienna seized the chance to say, “Nobody pushed me down the stairs. I fell because of some supernatural reason. I broke my forehead and leg, so I can’t continue the show and won’t be in her way anymore. Can’t she spare me? I want nothing of hers.”
Speaking, Sienna had tears streaming down her face as if she had broken down. She didn’t mention Phoebe at all, but the others in the ward were clear that she was talking about Phoebe.
Joshua asked in shock, “Are you saying that Phoebe cast a spell on you?” Among his acquaintances, only Phoebe could do that. Besides, she was at odds with Sienna. Sienna would like to give Joshua a thumbs-up for his quick response. “I said nothing. It is Joshua who said that Phoebe was the culprit,” she thought.
She bit her lip. “Joshua, I feel so bad. My bracelet broke. My face hurts again.” It was true that her face ached again after her bracelet had broken. Her whole body ached too, so she wished to tear Phoebe apart right away. With fake fear, she said, “What should I do now? She won’t spare me.”
Looking at the scared Sienna, Joshua was convinced.
The reason was that Phoebe had played tricks on Leon and Sienna. With knitted brows, Joshua said, “Are you suggesting that Phoebe made you fall down the steps with some supernatural measures?”
Sienna did not answer the question. She looked at Joshua and played the victim. “Joshua, I’m so scared. I’m afraid that my forehead, hand, and leg won’t recover. When do you think she’ll spare me?”
Joshua looked furious. “How outrageous she is!” He thought, “Phoebe went too far though Sienna had done something wrong. The face is important to women. Sienna’s large wound on the forehead will leave a scar for sure.”
Sienna looked at Joshua with sorrow as she cried, “Joshua, could you please ask her to show me some mercy! I’m in so much pain. My forehead, hand, and leg ache. No, my whole body aches. Help!”
The humble and tearful Sienna aroused sympathy from Joshua. He said through his gritted teeth, “I’ll go see her now.” Then, he stormed out of the ward.
In shock, Jamar failed to stop Joshua in time. He looked at Sienna skeptically and asked, “Are you sure that Phoebe is behind this?” In his impression, Phoebe was not so vicious. She would get back at whoever messed with her, however, she never took the initiative to hurt people. Besides, she was in an advantageous position in this show. There was no reason for her to play dirty tricks on Sienna.
Sienna was irritated by Jamar’s inquiring gaze. She thought, “How can you doubt me? How could you ask such a sharp question! What do you expect from my mouth! I tried so hard not to let Phoebe’s name cross my lips before Joshua.”
Reece looked at Sienna suspiciously. “Are you sure that the troublemaker is Phoebe!” He didn’t think that Phoebe was that bad. In his opinion, Phoebe must have a good reason to do so if she was the culprit. “It is unnecessary for her to get back at Sienna in the show,” he thought. He knew Phoebe well.
Sienna couldn’t dodge this question anymore. She bit her lip and then said, “Who else could it be? She did something like this to Leon and me not long ago. My face still aches. That bracelet was used to alleviate my pain.”

Reece thought for a moment before he said, “The truth will be out when Joshua meets with Phoebe.”
Jamar said, “Yes, let’s wait and see.” Deep down, he thought that Joshua was too impulsive. He thought, “How can Joshua confront Phoebe before he sorts out the truth! Their relationship will worsen because of his impulsiveness.”
