Phoebe’s accurate reading of the woman had sparked interest among many onlookers, who were curious to get a reading of their own. However, most hesitated, knowing it was a live broadcast and feeling too shy to step forward.

Just then, a handsome young man walked up and sat down.

“Phoebe, I’d like to have a reading, please,” he said, pulling out 100 dollars from his wallet and placing it on the table.

Phoebe glanced at him and asked, “Shall I share a few things about you first?”

The young man nodded eagerly. “Sure!”

Phoebe began. “You come from a wealthy family. Your mother passed away from illness when you were three.”

“Your father remarried, but he and your stepmother have treated you well, and they never had any other children.”

“Your family life has been peaceful and happy.”

“The only real setback you had was falling ill during your college entrance exams, which forced you to withdraw halfway through.”

“After repeating the year, you got into your dream university.”

“After graduation, you joined your father’s company, and your career has been smooth sailing.”

The young man looked surprised.

Phoebe continued, “You’ve always had a closer relationship with your stepmother than most people do with their biological mothers.”

He smiled and said, “Aside from a few relatives, none of my friends know about this.”

“I was impressed by how accurate your reading was for that woman earlier,” he said, his curiosity sparked. “That’s when I decided, on a whim, to come up and get one myself.”

“There’s no way you or the production team could’ve looked into my background beforehand.”

“You are impressive. You nailed it all.”

Then he added, “You still haven’t talked about my love life.”

Phoebe smiled. “You have those captivating eyes that make you seem flirtatious, but in reality, you’re pretty devoted.”

“You once had a girlfriend you cared deeply for, and just when things were going great between you two, she broke up with you.”

“For all these years, you’ve never stopped thinking about her. And you’re unsure whether you should contact her again, right?”

The young man’s eyes widened in shock. “Wow, you even knew that?”

He had kept his feelings for his ex-girlfriend to himself, unable to move on. He thought, How could I let go when I still care so much? I can’t just settle for anyone else!

He said, “I’ve been wondering if I should try to get back together with her. Is there still a chance?”

“Of course, if she’s still single or unmarried.”

The young man thought, If she’s with someone else now, no matter how much I still love her, I wouldn’t want to interfere or cause any problems.

“Even though we broke up suddenly, I’ve always felt there was a deeper reason behind it.”

Phoebe asked, “Do you have a picture of her?”

The young man nodded. “I do.”

He pulled out his phone and showed her a photo of them together. The camera angle was purposely avoided to keep it off the live stream.

Phoebe studied the photo for a moment, then looked back at him. “Your connection isn’t over yet.”

“She probably broke up with you because of family reasons, something beyond her control.”

Her expression shifted as she took a moment to focus. She carefully observed both facial features, then made a small gesture with her hand, as if calculating something.

With a smile, she added, “Sometimes, when fate comes knocking, it’s unstoppable.”

“I can tell she’s still single and right here in Oriar,” Phoebe said confidently. “You can go find her and ask her yourself.”

The young man’s eyes widened. “Are you serious?”

Phoebe chuckled. “That’s how I calculated it. Whether you believe it or not is up to you.”

He immediately jumped to his feet, eager. “I believe you, of course I do!”

“Where is she?”

Phoebe pointed to the location. “Head down the street next door and walk straight to the end. The last shop on the corner—she’ll be there.”

“Hopefully, this time, you won’t miss each other.”

The young man was nearly bursting with excitement. “Thank you! I’m going right now!”

The onlookers were equally stunned. They thought, Is this for real? His ex-girlfriend in Oriar, too? And Phoebe was able to predict it?

Curious, a few people followed him to see if this would work out.

The viewers in the live stream were insistent, demanding that the cameras follow along. They were too curious to see if Phoebe’s predictions would be accurate.

After getting the young man’s consent, the production crew sent a cameraman to follow him.

Minutes later, the young man reached the end of the street. He stopped in front of the last store, a small bakery, and froze momentarily.

His ex-girlfriend had always been passionate about baking and had once told him she dreamed of opening her pastry shop someday. He thought, “Could it be?”

With a mix of nervousness and hope, he stepped inside.

In front of him was a woman in a blue dress, focused on shaping pastries. He recognized her instantly and couldn’t help but call out, “Selene.”

At the sound of his voice, she froze for a moment. Slowly, she looked up, her eyes filled with disbelief.

After a brief pause, she asked, “How did you find me here?”

It was clear from her expression that she was both surprised and uncertain.

He walked toward her, explaining about the fortune-telling session, in excitement.

The live stream temporarily cut off as they began discussing the past. The viewers who had followed along gasped in disbelief, praising how accurate Phoebe’s fortune-telling and predictions were.

A moment later, the young man returned with the blushing woman, both stepping back into view of the camera.

He explained to the viewers that their sudden breakup had been due to her family pressuring her for a large sum of money to help her brother pay off his debts. They even tried to extort him for a dowry. She had broken up with him to protect him, not wanting her family to take advantage of him and bleed him dry. Afterward, she left her city and went to great lengths to escape her family’s grip, never gathering the courage to return and face the person she truly loved. After making some money, she opened a bakery in Oriar. After talking things through, the couple realized they still loved each other and decided to give their relationship another shot.

They walked back to the street, both repeatedly thanking Phoebe.

Unable to hold back, the young man asked, “Phoebe, if I hadn’t decided to ask for your help, would I still have run into her here?”

Phoebe smiled. “Not this time. You would have left without crossing paths. But you’ll meet again a few years from now when you return to Oriar.”

Hearing this, both of them let out a relieved sigh. “It’s good to have found each other a few years early.”

The young man thought, If we hadn’t met now, we would’ve been worrying for much longer.

They thanked Phoebe again before walking off hand in hand.

Seeing Phoebe’s predictions’ accuracy, those who had been too shy to face the camera before couldn’t help but step forward for their readings. Once one person got a reading, others, thinking about it, couldn’t sit still anymore. A line began to form.

An hour later, two young men, who looked like they didn’t take things too seriously, strolled up to join the queue. They would’ve tried to cut in line if it weren’t for the live stream.

After waiting for about half an hour, it was finally their turn.

The young man with bleached blond hair sat down impatiently. He glanced at Phoebe, scoffing. “You frauds sure know how to put on a show.”

“I’m here to expose your scam and warn everyone not to fall for it.”

Phoebe looked at the blond-haired man. She thought, Looks like trouble’s arrived.
