Chapter 332
Phoebe’s words shocked the crowd and the viewers watching the livestream. They looked at the blond-haired man with curiosity. They thought, If what Phoebe’s saying is true, this guy is ruthless. And judging by his expression, it seemed all too likely. It was clear from his reaction—he was visibly shaken by what was said. The blond-haired man quickly masked his shock, glaring at Phoebe with a hint of defensiveness. “You filthy woman, what nonsense are you…”
“There’s no way I’d ever…” He raised his fist in a threatening gesture. “Believe me, if you keep talking like that, I’ll make you regret it.”
Jamar stepped in front of Phoebe, immediately blocking him. He glared back at the blond-haired man. “What do you think you’re doing? This isn’t the place for you to cause trouble.”
I can tell by the look on your face—you’re shaken by what was said.
The blond-haired man sneered. “You’re full of crap. I’m not shaken.”
Phoebe ignored the blond-haired man and turned her attention to his companion instead. “Let’s talk about you now,” she said coolly. “You’re a rich kid, the only child, so you’ve been spoiled and pampered at home.”
“You’ve been spoiled rotten, never learning to distinguish right from wrong.”
“Back in school, you bullied your classmates every day, even going as far as hurting them multiple times.”
“But your father always used his money to cover it up.”
“As you grew older, you got involved in all sorts of trouble, nothing was off-limits.”
“You’ve not only bullied innocent girls, but you’ve also taken a life.”
Then, Phoebe pulled out her phone and dialed the police. “I need to report a crime. There’s a murderer here.”
The blond-haired man’s companion froze, shock written all over his face. He thought, I can’t believe she knew about my past. How did she even know I’ve killed someone! When he saw Phoebe dialing the police, his calm snapped. “You damn bitch, what are you doing? Don’t accuse an innocent man!” He shouted as he lunged for Phoebe’s phone, trying to grab it from her.
Just as he made his move, Reece returned with the pastries. Seeing the situation unfold, he rushed forward, stepping before Phoebe. “What do you think you’re doing! Stay back!”
But the man shoved his hand, sending Reece crashing to the ground. The pastries scattered everywhere. Phoebe couldn’t help but roll her eyes. “Reece, you’re genuinely a liability.”
After knocking Reece down, the man charged toward Phoebe again. She quickly lifted her foot and sent him crashing to the floor. She then hung up the phone, unfazed.
Phoebe thought, These two are nothing but trouble; they’ve done their fair share of wrongs. And anyone associating with them, like Jake, is cut from the same cloth.
Chapter 432
The man lay on the ground, clutching his stomach. His eyes burned with anger as he glared at Phoebe. “You’re lying, I didn’t do anything,” he snapped.
His heart was racing with panic. He thought, I never imagined coming here to die. Now, he was filled with regret. He thought, I can’t believe it—there are horoscope masters this powerful. She…
“She figured out things I thought no one knew, especially about the murder. Only I knew that…”
His mind raced as he scrambled to his feet, trying to run. Phoebe quickly turned to Jamar and Reece. “Stop him!”
Jamar lunged forward, grabbing the man’s shirt, while Reece, now back on his feet, intervened. Reece had been eager to protect Phoebe earlier, but had been knocked over; a bit embarrassing. Now, he was determined to make up for it.
The man struggled violently, shouting. “Let me go! You’re kidnapping me!”
The blond-haired man’s eyes widened in terror. Seeing his companion’s panic, it was apparent—he was rattled, guilty. Phoebe had gotten everything right, and now he just wanted to escape. He regretted it now. He thought, I just hope my mother and stepfather don’t see this livestream, or I’ll be in real trouble. He didn’t want his companion caught, so he quickly stepped forward to help.
“What are you feeling guilty about getting exposed, so now you’re taking it out on us!”
“Let go, or I won’t hold back!” He tried to pull Reece off, but Jamar blocked him.
Phoebe’s fingers twitched, and two threads of evil energy slithered out from the saber coin hidden in her bag. They crawled through the ground, weaving their way into the blond-haired man’s and his companion’s bodies.
Raylan glanced at Phoebe, knowing she was about to stir things up again. He thought, But these two idiots brought this on themselves; they deserve it.
As the evil energy entered their bodies, it started to take effect. The man caught by Reece suddenly turned, glaring at him with wild eyes. “Let go, or I’ll kill you both!”
The blond-haired man kept attacking Jamar. “So what if you figured us out?”
“We’ve got connections. You can’t do anything to us.”
“Let go, or things will get ugly for you.”
Skilled in Taekwondo, Jamar dodged the attack and swiftly tripped the blond-haired man, pinning him to the ground. “You murderers aren’t going anywhere, just wait for the police!”
He was also shocked. He thought, I can’t believe Phoebe’s fortune-telling is this accurate. The blond-haired men struggled even more violently after hearing this.
Phoebe suddenly spoke, her voice calm. “Who sent you to cause the trouble?”
The blond-haired man scoffed. “You’re sharp, and even know Ollie is the one who gave the orders.”
After speaking, the blond-haired man’s expression shifted. He thought, How did I just spill that? Sensing his unease, Phoebe deliberately pressed on. “Who’s Ollie? Is he in the coffee shop across the street!” The blond-haired man blurted out, “Ollie is Jake Lyons. His aunt is Mrs. Hill of the Hill family in Solara City.”
“He’s watching from the coffee shop right now.”
“You’re no match for us, so you better let us go while you still can!”

Chapter 32
Reece blinked in surprise. “Jake! Ophelia’s nephew?”
The blond-haired man, who had never cared much for the entertainment world or livestreams, had no idea about the connection between Reece and Ollie. He turned smugly toward Reece. “Yeah, he’s Ophelia’s nephew. Scared now?”
This turn of events genuinely took aback Reece. “Why would he send you to go after Phoebe? They don’t have any history.”
Usually, the blond-haired man would have kept quiet, but now it slipped out. “It’s Phoebe; she pissed off Ophelia.”
“Ophelia didn’t like Phoebe, and since Ollie was in Oriar, she called him up and told him to take care of Phoebe.”
Reece’s expression shifted, his face paling. “Is this true?”
The blond-haired man shot him a glare. “If I’m lying, then I’m a bastard.” He said it, but his mind was racing with panic. “What’s wrong with me? Why can’t I control what I’m saying! It felt so strange, almost like a curse—I was terrified.”
Phoebe used evil energy to influence their minds. She thought, My goal was simple—to make them expose Jake and Ophelia’s involvement right here in front of everyone.
She feigned a sudden realization, her face lighting up with a sudden understanding. “No wonder,” she said. “I thought we had no history together. Why would you come here to cause trouble for me?”
Turns out it was Ophelia and Jake pulling the strings.
Phoebe turned to Reece, her tone sharp. “Ophelia knows how to bully people, doesn’t she?”
“Just because she favors Sienna, and when Sienna got into trouble, the Jenkins family sent her to the Horoscope Association… Phoebe’s voice grew icy. “And now she’s decided to take it out on me?”
“Not only that, but she sent these murderers to destroy my booth and cause chaos.” Phoebe’s eyes sharpened. “Is exposing a fraud the only thing they’re after, or do they want to cause me even more trouble?”
Phoebe thought, What kind of person is Ophelia, associating with people like this and having them do her dirty work? She can’t be a good person.
“Ophelia had climbed her way up from humble beginnings, and because of that, she cares even more about her reputation and social status than Lydia did.”
“She constantly boasts about her grace and elegance in high society, always acting like the perfect high-society wife.”
‘Now, I’ve just stripped away the mask Ophelia’s been hiding behind, exposing the truth to everyone.
