Chapter 386

The man escorting Sienna's bark, Quanting Stems, was dead. This time, her father arranged for another person to escort her to Solara City.

Although she was in the Homope Accution, the four brothers knew everything that happened in Solara City. Therefore, she had already planned how to reintegrate into the Jenkins family. Before returning, she specifically asked the escort to check on Elliot and her brothers.

After learning that Elliot had taken her eldest brother on a business trip and Lydia and her four other brothers were at home, Sienna dressed hurriedly and returned home in a sorry state. When she arrived, it was lunchtime. Recently, Lydia's temper had become volatile because of the venomous parasite. After Elliot and Ollie had gone on business trips, Lydia demanded the other four sons accompany her for lunch every day. Whoever disobeyed or ran away would be harshly scolded.

Lydia was stunned again when Sienna hugged her, then she was touched. Now that Lydia was in this state, not only could Sienna recognize her, but she also hugged her. However, her sons were inconsiderate; she even had to force them to eat with her. Because of this, the hand that was about to push Sienna away turned into a pat on her shoulder.

She asked, “Are you okay at the Horoscope Association?” Sienna heaved a sigh of relief. Her eyes, buried in Lydia's arms, revealed a hint of smugness. Her target was Lydia; right now, Lydia needed comfort most. It was the easiest way to win her over.

She answered, “I was controlled by Damon. When the curse was lifted, I suffered a lot. The Horoscope Association punished me by locking me up in a water prison. But it’s all worth it. He can’t control me now. I am back now!” She rubbed her head against Lydia's.

She said affectionately and dependently, “Mom, when I was locked up, I thought about you guys every day. I recalled how you hugged me when I was young.” She began to recall Lydia's kindness and their beautiful past. It had to be said that Lydia was at her weakest; her heart softened when she heard this. She had always treated Sienna as her biological daughter and doted on her for many years. Sienna had always been independent and considerate of her.

Lydia's plan to have the butler send Sienna away had changed. She said, “Who would have thought that Damon would be used to control you to harm us?” She patted Sienna’s head. “It’s good that you’re free now.”

Sienna looked up with tears in her eyes. “Mom, you’re the best. I’ll take good care of you in the future.” She knew what Lydia wanted to hear most now. After all, Phoebe was so cold and heartless to her. As expected, Lydia's eyes softened. “Alright, keep me company from now on.” She felt very lonely and needed a caring person by her side. Whether it was her parents, brothers, husband, or children, none of them understood or loved her.

She looked at Sienna and said, “If you need anything, let the butler prepare it for you?” Sienna hugged Lydia’s arm and rubbed against it. “Mom, I love you.”

The four brothers watched, speechless. They felt that Lydia was very gullible; a casual hug and some coaxing had softened her heart. The brothers all had the same thought: they definitely could not let Sienna stay with them. They looked at each other and exchanged glances. Then, Joshua, Cain, and Jamar looked at Leon simultaneously, blinking at him. They pouted in the direction of Lydia and Sienna, signaling for Leon to intervene.

Leon rolled his eyes and whispered, “Can’t you guys do it?” The other three said in unison, “Since Ollie isn’t around, of course, you…”

Leon thought, “These bastards never think of me when something good happens, but now they want me to play the bad cop.” However, he was also afraid of Sienna. Hence, he braced himself and looked at Lydia. “Mom, you haven’t forgotten what Dad said before, right?”

When Lydia heard this, her body stiffened. She knew what he meant. Her husband wanted to send Sienna away. She glared at Leon. “How can you be so heartless? She’s also your sister. Can’t she stay at home and accompany me?”

Sienna knew that Elliot wanted to send her away. Her brothers, who had doted on her so much, had betrayed her. She felt that Leon was the worst; recently, he had never shown her any kindness.

She turned around and looked at the four of them with tears in her eyes. “I was controlled by someone previously. That’s why I was like that. Don’t blame me, okay? I promise I’ll never do that again.”

Leon sneered. “Only a fool would believe that?” He had already seen through Sienna. He wouldn’t believe that she was being controlled. Lydia’s expression turned ugly. She felt that she had been mocked.

Cain said, “That’s right. You had sucked away my life force previously. You’re the one who benefits from this, not Damon.” After going through so much torture and pain, he would not be deceived again.
