Celine had already pulled Hailey into the women's restroom. When she heard James' voice note, she replied, "All the best, James."

In his study, James found Dr. C's address surprisingly endearing. He sent another voice message, a faint smile on his face: "Got it, I'll keep working hard!"

Meanwhile, Celine slipped her phone back into her bag as Hailey tugged on her arm. "Celine, let's go."

Just as they were leaving, the restroom door swung open, and Carly and Melody entered. The four women came face to face.

Carly's lips curved into a smug smile. "Celine, what are you doing here? I heard Adam kicked you out of the Alvarez Residence, and now you're staying in the Vorhine University dorms?" Still reveling in her dramatic triumph after falling down the stairs, Carly couldn't wait to flaunt her victory over Celine, whom she considered a loser.

Celine raised an elegant eyebrow, unfazed. She smiled and retorted, "Carly, it's the first time I've seen someone so thrilled to be a rebound."

Carly was stunned.

Celine continued, smiling, "Am I wrong? I slept in that bed, and Adam is the second-hand item I used. You're trying to be the rebound—how unhygienic."

Carly was speechless. (The implication is that Carly is trying to take what Celine already used.)

Carly's face darkened.

Hailey laughed. "Celine, is this the mistress, Carly?"

The word triggered Carly. She glared at Hailey and snapped, "Who the hell are you?"

Then, Carly saw the birthmark on Hailey's right cheek. She laughed cruelly. "How can someone be so ugly?"

Melody hooked her arm around Carly. "Carly, you don't know, do you? This is Celine's roommate and new best friend, Hailey. She's known as 'Ugly Hailey' on campus." Melody giggled, covering her mouth. "Don't you think 'Ugly Hailey' and 'the country bumpkin' sounds good?"

Carly nodded. "Yes! Nobody wants to be friends with them, so they only have each other."

The two looked down on Celine and Hailey.

Celine and Hailey remained calm. Celine said, "Hailey, let's go. Someone has bad breath, and I can't stand it anymore."

"Celine, let's go," Hailey agreed.

They left.

Carly's smile faded. She turned to Melody. "Melody, Vorhine University's campus belle, this is your territory. You need to deal with Celine and Hailey. Get them kicked out if you can."

Melody, brimming with confidence, replied, "No problem. Leave it to me."

Pleased, Carly went to the vanity mirror to apply makeup. Then, she remembered something. "Melody, have you found out who James' daughter, Allie, is yet?"

James, having a daughter later in life, treasured Allie immensely. She was the youngest child of the Lambert family, their princess from birth. She was also Adam's cousin, and he adored her.
