Listen to this chapter:

Celine stared at Bailey, disbelief etched on her face. "I believe you've reached the wrong number…" Her voice trailed off as a tall, dignified figure stepped into view, casting a shadow before her.

Adam fixed a piercing glare on Hailey before turning to Celine. "Who started the fight?"

Terrified by Adam's anger, Hailey silently stepped back, accidentally pushing Celine forward. Celine collided with Adam's solid chest. Fresh from a management meeting, he exuded an air of authority.

Her face flushed crimson. She wanted to glare at Hailey, whom she considered a traitor. Her height aligned perfectly with Adam's chest. He lowered his gaze and commanded, "Stand still!"

She quickly stepped back.

"Keep your head up," he ordered.

Celine obeyed. Adam frowned, noticing her dirty face and disheveled hair. Her clothes were torn, making her look pitiful. Yet, she looked up at him with bright, clear eyes, like a kitten's at night.

Adam was speechless.

Just then, Bailey approached. "Mr. Alvarez, I apologize for the interruption, but the fight between Celine and Hailey was serious. The Zander family is demanding Celine's expulsion from the university. What are your thoughts?"

Adam considered this before replying, "I'll take them back to freshen up first."

"Sure," Bailey nodded.

Adam followed Celine and Hailey to the women's dormitory. Hailey grabbed a towel and ran off. "Celine, I'm going to wash up next door."

Celine was speechless.

Adam remained outside, a true gentleman. Celine showered. Emerging, she saw him waiting. His striking figure drew immediate attention. His presence at the women's dormitory caused a stir.

Women flocked to the door, exclaiming, "Wow, he's so handsome! I think I'm going to faint!"

Adam ignored them.

Leo approached and whispered, "Mr. Alvarez, should we keep this private? The Alvarez and Zander families are connected. Direct intervention might persuade them to reconsider Celine's expulsion from Yorhine University."

Adam was visibly upset. Celine had only been at Yorhine University for two days and already caused trouble. Noticing Celine watching him, he met her gaze.

Celine flinched, stepping back to make way for him. "Mr. Alvarez, you may come in now."

Adam entered the women's dormitory for the first time, immediately noticing the vibrant, feminine atmosphere. Hailey's room was decorated in shades of pink, with peach-colored heart-patterned bedsheets—a stark contrast to Adam's reserved masculinity. Celine had lived there since leaving Alvarez Residence.
