Listen to this chapter:

Mary took another stealthy sip of her milk tea, sighing contentedly. “This is simply divine,” she said, her attention directed to the young, handsome therapist standing before her. “How old are you?”

“I’m fifteen,” the therapist replied politely.

Mary chuckled, her eyes twinkling with amusement. “No wonder men still adore eighteen-year-olds, even when they’re older. Turns out even a ninety-year-old grandma…” She was interrupted.

Leo had planned to remind Celine about the current situation, but hearing the cheerful commotion, he hesitated. Shaking his head, he quietly backed away. Forget it. Everyone had their own blessings. Celine would just have to handle this herself.

Meanwhile, Adam stood frozen in the doorway, veins throbbing on his forehead. The scene before him was unimaginable: his grandmother, sitting with milk tea, thoroughly enjoying a foot massage.

A dark, oppressive anger surged through him. What was she thinking? Had she completely lost her mind? This was outright rebellion! He saw her as the root of all this chaos.

He had been sure their story was over, convinced he was on the verge of a new chapter with Carly. But no, Celine had inserted herself into his life, turning everything upside down.

Blissfully unaware of the storm brewing, Celine continued relaxing on the sofa. Her delicate feet rested in the therapist’s hands, who skillfully kneaded them. Perhaps it felt too good; her toes twitched adorably.

Adam’s mouth twitched in disbelief. Standing with his hands on his lips, he let out an incredulous laugh. Back in the women’s dormitory, he had once grabbed those same feet, only for her to yank them away in panic. What a hypocrite.

At that moment, Hailey noticed him in the doorway. She bolted upright in shock and stammered, “Mr. Alvarez?”

Mary, mid-sip of her milk tea, froze. “Adam?”

Celine remained oblivious, lounging comfortably with an eye mask. “Adam? No way he’d show up here. He’s probably at a fancy restaurant, having a candlelit dinner with Carly.”

The next second, the eye mask was yanked off, and Adam’s aristocratic profile loomed above her. Celine gasped.

Adam glared down at her, his expression dark and menacing. Through gritted teeth, he roared, “Put your shoes on and get out here. Now!”

Celine scrambled to obey, stumbling out of the room. Soon, she, Mary, and Hailey stood in a row in the corridor, heads bowed.

Adam’s sharp gaze swept over them. “Whose idea was this?” he demanded coldly.

Without hesitation, Mary and Hailey pointed at Celine.

Celine was speechless. What utter betrayal!

Hailey cleared her throat awkwardly. “Mr. Alvarez, I just remembered I have homework. I’ll head back to school now.” Without waiting for a response, she slipped away.

Mary quickly followed. “Adam, it’s late. I need to go home now. Leo, take me back.”

In an instant, the corridor emptied, leaving only Adam and Celine. Celine looked up at him with wide, innocent eyes. “Mr. Alvarez, I’ll be on my way…”

Before she could move, his strong hand clamped around her wrist. His voice, cold and menacing, rumbled in her ear. “Did I say you could leave?”

The passage has been significantly improved with corrected spelling, grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure. Some minor ambiguities remain (e.g., the identity of "Leo"), but the overall clarity and flow are much better.
