Celine rubbed her drooping eyes. "I want to sleep a bit more."

"Stop sleeping! It's time to have some fun. Let's go; I'm taking you to the club for a night out."

Hailey dragged Celine into the club. They quickly ran into several people they knew in a lavish private lounge, including Carly, Benjamin, Melody, and several other wealthy heirs.

Benjamin sat on the sofa and said, "Carly, Adam's already been working overseas for two days. Is he coming back tonight?"

After that night, Adam had left the city for work, and Celine hadn't seen or contacted him since. According to their agreement, after that night, they owed each other nothing. It was just another secret they would keep.

Carly smiled. "Yes, Adam's coming back tonight."

"Ms. Tate, didn't Mr. Alvarez go for a drive on the highway two days ago? He was driving too fast, and a speed camera caught him. He was penalized as a result. Did you know about this?"

Carly was taken aback. She knew nothing about it.

However, Celine, who was standing outside, knew what had happened between Adam and herself that night on the highway. They had been photographed by the speed camera, penalized, and fined. This served as a lesson to everyone about driving carefully.

"Gosh, why did Adam drive so fast? Was he provoked?" Benjamin was curious.

Celine didn't want to listen to this conversation. "Hailey, let's go."

Celine was about to pull Hailey away when Melody, who was sitting inside the private lounge, exclaimed, "Carly, Adam's bought you some souvenirs from overseas!"

Carly smiled sweetly. "What presents did Adam get for me?"

"One of my friends told me that she saw Adam purchase a diamond necklace at the branded stores overseas. It's the most popular necklace at Alber right now—the red agate necklace."

Carly's eyes lit up. She had wanted the red agate necklace for some time, and Adam had already bought it for her. This was a pleasant surprise.

Celine pulled Hailey away. Hailey said angrily, "Mr. Alvarez treats Carly too well, even buying her the red agate necklace while he's working overseas. Did he forget who's the actual Mrs. Alvarez?"

Celine could only smile bitterly. Adam had never given her any presents. Before this, he had given Carly a handbag. Celine thought the handbag was a gift for herself and had complimented it.
