Water spilled from the glass, soaking Celine's hands and clothes. Hailey quickly grabbed some tissues and began dabbing at Celine's sleeve. "Nikki, what's wrong with you? I've noticed you acting strangely toward Celine this whole time. Are you deliberately targeting her?"

Celine, who had already tested the lukewarm water—nowhere near hot—lifted her calm, piercing black-and-white eyes and locked them onto Nikki's face. "You framed Robin on purpose. It wasn't about her. You were coming after me, weren't you?"

Nikki shrugged, a smug smile curling her lips. "Yes."

Hailey's jaw dropped in disbelief, then anger erupted. "Nikki, are you out of your mind? Celine always treated you like a friend! Have you forgotten who ran to save you when Mr. Holt tried to drag you away at the Atlas Hotel? And now that you've made it big, you not only cut people off, but you repay kindness with revenge? Have you lost your conscience?"

Nikki showed no guilt; if anything, her sneer deepened. "Finally, you said what you've been thinking. You're both jealous of me. You're jealous because I found a rich boyfriend. You're jealous that I became a big star."

"Jealous?" Hailey froze, momentarily dumbfounded. Then she snapped, "If you're so proud of him, then why don't you tell us your boyfriend's name?"

Before Hailey could continue, Celine gently restrained her, stepping forward to face Nikki. Her calm, clear eyes never wavered. "This boyfriend of yours—do I know him?" Nikki had flaunted this boyfriend repeatedly. If he was as important to her as she claimed, Celine likely knew him.

But Nikki didn't answer. Just then, her assistant's phone buzzed. Alice answered, then whispered urgently to Nikki.

Nikki's face lit up with joy. She cast a proud glance at Celine. "Sorry, I don't have time to discuss Robin's situation. I'm not changing my statement. My boyfriend heard I was hurt, and he's coming to pick me up."

Hailey's face flushed with anger. "Why you—"

With a smug air, Nikki threw off the blanket, got out of bed, and twirled before the mirror, checking her reflection. She adjusted her outfit, ensuring she looked sweet and innocent. Satisfied, she left with Alice, ignoring Celine and Hailey.

"What kind of person is this? We completely misjudged her. Who is this 'sugar daddy' of hers, spoiling her so much?" Hailey fumed.

Celine's gaze lingered on the doorway. "If we want to know who her 'sugar daddy' is, we can follow her and find out." Truthfully, Celine was just as curious to learn the man's identity.

Celine and Hailey followed Nikki downstairs. Nikki waited, poised and well-behaved, as her "sugar daddy" hadn't yet arrived.

"There he is!" Hailey exclaimed.

Celine saw a long Rolls-Royce gliding toward them. The luxury car shimmered—like a king making an entrance. Nikki's eyes sparkled; she instantly transformed from an arrogant superstar into a lovestruck woman.

Alice opened the passenger door. Nikki carefully gathered her dress, entering with practiced grace. The car's black-tinted windows concealed the interior.

Moments later, the Rolls-Royce sped away into the night, disappearing from view.

Hailey frowned, puzzled. "With a car and entourage like that, Nikki must have landed an unbelievably powerful 'sugar daddy.' But I have no idea who it could be."

She reached for Celine's hand. Celine's hand was icy cold. "Celine, what's wrong? Your hands are like ice!"
