Chapter 357

Lucy and Tracy were horrified to find Carly pinned to the ground. Without hesitation, they surged forward, determined to save her.

โ€œLet her go! Now!โ€ someone shouted. (The previous sentence is unclear; this revision assumes a third person was involved).

โ€œThis is your third warning. Weโ€™ll have to throw you out now.โ€

With that, Carly, Tracy, and Lucy were locked out of Jupiter Heights, the door snapping shut behind them.

They were speechless. They had never encountered such injustice, especially Carly, who was always treated as Adam's guest of honor. Being coldly dismissed and thrown out was a new experience for her.

Tracy was furious. โ€œItโ€™s all Celineโ€™s fault! Carly, what exactly happened? Celine has a luxury car and house, and she even kicked us out! Itโ€™s ridiculous!โ€ Carly clenched her fist in frustration. โ€œCeline is nothing. Adam broke up with her, divorced her, and compensated her with a massive sum of money.โ€

Lucy glanced at the residence, a hint of jealousy in her voice. โ€œCarly, Tracy, donโ€™t worry. No matter how much Mr. Alvarez gives her, Celine will waste it all. Sheโ€™s just a housewife without a job. Itโ€™ll be interesting to see how she manages once the money is gone.โ€

These words eased Carly and Tracyโ€™s anger. Then, Tracy remarked, โ€œCarly, you should definitely find out how much Mr. Alvarez gave Celine in the divorce settlement.โ€

Carly believed Adam must have given her between $100 million and $200 million. After all, with his vast fortune, such sums were insignificant to him. While she hadnโ€™t been curious before, her interest was piqued now.

โ€œIโ€™ll find out.โ€

At that moment, Tracyโ€™s phone rang with a charming ringtone. A smile lit up her face. It was her boyfriend, Dr. C.

Tracy answered. When Dr. Cโ€™s voice came through, she exclaimed, โ€œThatโ€™s great! Absolutely incredible!โ€

Carly inquired, โ€œTracy, what good news did Dr. C share?โ€

Tracy replied excitedly, โ€œThe funds we invested in Dr. Cโ€™s company have already multiplied tenfold! Our wealth has soared to new heights. Weโ€™ve struck gold!โ€

โ€œReally?โ€ Carly and Lucy were overjoyed.

Sonia and Tracyโ€™s families, along with Carlyโ€™s family, had made significant investments in Dr. Cโ€™s company, even mortgaging Tate Manor and their company shares. They had risked all their assets. Now, their investment had yielded a tenfold return, resulting in a huge profit.

Carlyโ€™s mood brightened instantly. โ€œWeโ€™re wealthy now. Celine may rely on Adamโ€™s divorce settlement, but weโ€™re rich ourselves.โ€

Lucy suggested, โ€œSince your grandma has been feeling down lately, why not take her shopping tomorrow? It could lift her spirits and allow our whole family to enjoy some quality time together.โ€

โ€œSure.โ€

Celine was astonished to discover that the apartment Perry had arranged for her was in Jupiter Heights, next door to Adam. What an incredible coincidence!

However, as a billion-dollar luxury apartment complex, Jupiter Heights truly embodied opulence and was the perfect place to call home.

She was enjoying a luxurious bath infused with milk and delicate rose petals when her phone chimed with a WhatsApp notification. It was a message from Perry: โ€œIโ€™ll take you to the mall tomorrow.โ€

After her bath, Celine cleaned the house and was taking a garbage bag downstairs when, as she stepped outside, her eyes were drawn to a strikingly handsome, tall figure. It was Adam. Celine sensed their relationship was complicated. She only managed a faint cough as a greeting, feeling it was more comfortable to act as if they were strangers.

The passage was significantly improved by clarifying ambiguous sentences, correcting grammatical errors (e.g., subject-verb agreement, punctuation), and removing unnecessary words or phrases. Several sections were also reorganized for better flow. Some sections were difficult to interpret fully due to ambiguity in the original text and required assumptions about intent.
