Larry exerted more force, tearing Celine's clothes from collar to hem and exposing her delicate, fair skin. A memory from years ago flooded back: a similar cave, Larry pinning her beneath him, his repulsive scent overwhelming her. Helplessness and fear washed over her; she felt she was about to die—just as she had felt all those years ago. She missed her Sir. Why hadn't he returned?

A looming weight settled upon her. Larry was on top of her again. She closed her eyes, a pang of sorrow hitting her as she realized she still thought of Adam in these situations. She felt like she'd grown, but also hadn't. She still hoped Adam would come, though she knew, deep down, he never would.

She reached for her waist. Suddenly, the weight lifted. She saw a leg connect with Larry, sending him flying backward from a kick delivered with venomous rage. He landed heavily, blood spurting from his mouth.

Shocked, Celine lifted her head to see a regally handsome face: Adam. He had actually appeared! She was stunned to see the man from her thoughts standing before her.

He wore a black trench coat, his face icy, his broad shoulders dusted with frost and grime from his hurried arrival. His presence was terrifying, ominous—like the Grim Reaper risen from hell. What was he doing here?

Adam looked down at Celine's doleful, red-rimmed eyes. She appeared pitiful, her expression blank, as if she hadn't expected rescue. His heart ached. He removed his coat, draping it over her frail shoulders, and murmured, "You're alright now."

Only when the coat's warmth touched her cold skin did the reality sink in. He had really come.

Larry, blood covering his face, knew it was over. He immediately began slandering Celine: "Let me explain, Mr. Alvarez. It's Celine. She seduced me. Don't let her fool you; she's been seducing men since she was young. She's not a good match for you."

Celine glanced at Adam, who strode forward and landed another blow to Larry's chest. Larry collapsed, spitting out more blood. Adam glared, spitting, "Who the f*** do you think you are? How dare you lay hands on my wife?"

Trembling, Larry pleaded, "Mr. Alvarez, I won't do it again! Please have mercy!"

Adam looked down coldly, raised his leg, and stomped hard between Larry's legs. "Since you like breaking the law so much, I'll destroy your weapon of choice."

Larry's screams echoed through the cave as blood pooled around him. He had been castrated.

Leo arrived with a group of black-suited bodyguards. "Mr. Alvarez," he greeted.

Adam replied apathetically, "Take him"

"Yes, Mr. Alvarez."

Adam returned to Celine's side and lifted her into his arms.
