Marty didn't know how to react. He had merely intended to flatter Matthew with polite words, not to receive an order to act against Cole. He considered it unreasonable for the manager of Opulent Club to strike a customer, but he dared not disobey; the club was Matthew's creation. Matthew's instructions were absolute within the club—unless one wished to be dismissed.
The elevator slowly ascended to the ninth floor. Upon exiting, Matthew found Ansel in a pharmacy-themed room, as expected. Ansel seemed to have been waiting and smiled. "Sir, is there something you need help with?" he asked. "With your word, the entire club is at your service."
Matthew produced the Tiger Seal. "My mentor tasked me with retrieving this. Here it is."
Ansel was startled. "You found it so quickly?" He carefully took the Tiger Seal, examining it from all angles. Finding no flaws, he placed the ring in a box on a medicine cabinet. Matthew glanced at the cabinet, noticing a few empty spaces, guessing other items would be placed there.
He remembered Ansel's promise to reveal his mentor's identity after the first task. Now, eager to learn, he asked, "Can you tell me about my mentor now?"
Ansel gestured for Matthew to sit. "Your mentor's identity is complex, with many undisclosed details. However, I can reveal that he is the leader of the medical association."
Matthew had never heard of this leader. He silently waited for Ansel to continue, deeply curious.
Noticing Matthew's silence, Ansel said, "The leader of the medical association, in simple terms, is the head honcho." He elaborated on the association's intricacies, comparing it to groups like the Virtucians, Rulecists, Tacticists, and Defencists, each with internal divisions. He explained that the medical association comprised several divisions, such as the Presetian, Thermodra, Afflictan, Fevera, and Harmona Sects. He noted that many of these divisions had lost most of their ancient texts due to the decline of traditional medicine; their successors were either deceased or had abandoned their practices.
Ansel stated, "Your mentor aims to collect the lost medical literature and tokens from the seven divisions to revive traditional medicine. The Tiger Seal you acquired is the token of the Medieval Sect, and you still need to locate their medical literature, the Medieval Medicine. The task concerning the Medieval Sect will be deemed complete only after you acquire that text."
He concluded, "Traditional medicine has hope for revival only when the tokens and medical literature of the seven divisions are gathered."
Matthew was stunned, unprepared for his mentor's impressive background. He also admired Nicholas's ambition. The thought of reviving traditional medicine seemed incredibly ambitious. Noticing Ansel's respect, he grasped a crucial point. "Are you suggesting I must collect the tokens and medical literature from all seven divisions?"
Ansel smiled and shook his head. "It's not my instruction—it's your mentor's."
Matthew fell silent. His remarkable transformation was all thanks to his mentor's guidance. His mentor had not only taught him medicine and ancient martial arts but also numerous secret techniques, introducing him to an entirely new world. Therefore, he gladly accepted the task. "Okay, I'll take on this task," he replied.
Ansel smiled. "Even though your mentor said you would agree, I'm still surprised at how quickly you accepted. This task is quite challenging, you see."
Matthew smiled, well aware of the difficulty. His curiosity about Nicholas deepened. He extended his hand, revealing the Juprus Ring. "Can you tell me about this?" he asked.
