Listen to this chapter:

Matthew looked bewildered. "It was just in my hand a moment ago. How could it disappear?" He bent down to search, muttering, "I won't be able to explain this if I don't find it."

Tracy raised an eyebrow. "Stop pretending. What are you searching for? There couldn't possibly be a spider in such a clean office. You're just looking for an excuse, aren't you? I knew you were a pervert!"

Matthew continued searching. "There really was a spider. I'm not lying."

Rachel's face flushed with anger. She crossed her arms and stared coldly at Matthew.

Tracy shouted, "Ever since you undid her third button when you met Rae, I knew you were no good! Rachel even defended you, saying the button popped open on its own. Now the truth is out. Stop looking; there's no spider. If you find one, I'll eat it!"

Matthew raised his hand; a transparent thread trailed from it, a spider dangling below. He recalled Tracy's words, then swung the thread, showing the spider. "I found it. Go ahead and eat it!"

She stared in shock, taking a few steps back. "Take it away! I'm scared!"

Matthew took a step forward, placing the spider before her. "You have to follow through with what you said."

Tracy called to Rachel, "Rae, do something! I'm really scared."

Rachel looked apologetic. "Matthew, I'm sorry, we misunderstood. Tracy was just looking out for me. Don't hold it against her."

Matthew's expression darkened. "You're my girlfriend. I have the right to touch you, don't I?"

Rachel's face reddened.

Matthew continued, "Even if we sleep together, I'm with my girlfriend, right?"

Rachel blushed, wanting to pinch him. "What nonsense are you talking about?"

Matthew smirked. "Rough words, but it's true. She's acting like I'm a pervert. Do I really need her permission to touch my girlfriend? She owes me an apology!"

Rachel looked at him, speechless. He seemed to have a point.

Tracy clenched her fist. "Fine, maybe you're not a pervert after all!"

Matthew inched the spider closer to Tracy's face. "What do you mean by 'maybe'?"

Tracy's face paled. "I was wrong. I apologize. Take it away!"

Matthew smirked, walked to the window, and threw the spider out.

Tracy clenched her fist. "Don't mess with me," she warned. "I've had training." She stormed out.

Matthew shook his head, feeling unthreatened. He was alone with Rachel.

Rachel coughed, changing the subject. "Did you need something?"

Matthew nodded. "Yes, I need another day off to help a friend open her clinic."

Rachel remembered something. "You can't take the day off."
