Andy started to call when Bruce stopped him. “No, wait… Forget it.”
He knew that if he wanted to attend, no one would dare stop him, invitation or not. The public craved his presence at such events. He didn’t need an invitation.
The banquet proceeded as planned at a beachside mansion Joanna had rented. In addition to welcoming David and his entourage, she’d invited celebrities and senior Haynes Group executives. Several female artists under Jaydon’s management also attended.
Jaydon himself was supposed to attend, but his father fell ill and he had to rush home.
At the banquet, guests were dressed in tuxedos and gowns. Stunning models, dressed provocatively, attracted considerable attention, and many men attempted to flirt with them. The models attended such events for networking and the potential to meet wealthy individuals.
