“If there’s nothing else, you can leave. I still have work to do,” Aiken said.

Simona, completely exasperated, replied, “Alright, alright, I’m leaving.”

After she left, Aiken called Skylar. “I saw the video. The person in it does look a lot like Joe, but he denies it. So, whoever he is, I’ll have someone investigate thoroughly.”

Skylar responded, “Yes, I know he denied it, but… I have a feeling that he is Joe.”

Aiken hummed in acknowledgment, opening his mouth as if to speak, then hesitated. Speculating was pointless until they identified the person; without seeing him, any guess was meaningless.

Just as Skylar was about to leave Galaxy Villa, Ursula called. Her background noise suggested a loud environment.

“Ms. Sullivan, this is Ursula Fairbank. I… I would like to meet you. Are you available?”

Skylar simply replied, “Where are you?”

They met later in a café on the third floor of a small mall.

After sitting down, Ursula, unable to meet Skylar’s gaze, nervously asked, “Ms. Sullivan, what would you like to eat? I’ll order.”

“I had breakfast earlier and I’m still a bit full. Just order for yourself,” Skylar said.

Ursula bit her lip, nodding awkwardly. “Okay, I’ll go order.” Perhaps due to nervousness, she ordered two meals.

Seeing Ursula’s anxiety, Skylar smiled gently. “Just say whatever you need to. Don’t worry.”

“Will you tell Ms. Ruell and the others what I say?” Ursula bit her lip again.

“No, I have nothing to do with the Ruell family.”

“Really? You and Ms. Ruell seem to be very good friends,” Ursula said, uncertain.

After everything, she couldn't trust anyone. Everyone seemed malicious, especially the Ruells, who believed their money entitled them to trample on others' dignity. Ursula particularly disliked this. But Skylar didn't evoke that feeling; instead, she felt inexplicable trust.

Skylar's gaze fell upon Ursula's necklace. Understanding Ursula's fear, she said, “If I were Vera’s friend, I wouldn’t have asked her to leave a message for you. The necklace you’re wearing is cursed. It will bring retribution to those who harmed you and your mother.”

Ursula’s eyes widened. “You… You actually know about this?”

She stood, overwhelmed by fear, momentarily tempted to flee.

“Yes, I know some things. This necklace can also backfire on you. Those who hurt you will pay a price, but it will harm you too. Have you been having nightmares or falling ill frequently lately?” Skylar asked gently.

Ursula’s eyes widened further. She never expected her secret to be so easily revealed.
