Skylar stared at the message, feeling as if she were dreaming. Gloria awoke with a yawn, noticing Skylar's smile. Chuckling, she asked, "Why so happy?"

"Joe asked me to meet him tomorrow," Skylar replied instantly.

Gloria's eyes lit up. "He must be starting to remember something! Otherwise, he wouldn't be so proactive. Tomorrow, let's make you absolutely beautiful, so he realizes what he's been missing these past three years!"

There was no comparison between Rosa and Skylar; Skylar was wonderful in every way.

Veronica added, "Of course! Mrs. Martin can turn heads with just a little makeup. Let her captivate Mr. Martin!"

Skylar smiled and nodded. "Alright, I'll do as you suggest." This was the first time in a long while Joe had initiated a meeting, and she eagerly anticipated it.

In a Jipsburg downtown hotel's presidential suite, Stephen emerged from the bathroom, a woman drying her hair inside. The hairdryer's hum filled the air as he surveyed the suite, considering his situation. He'd recently become aware of his own attractiveness and its potential benefits. Just then, Albie walked out of the bathroom, naked. Stephen's eyes widened in surprise. Instinctively moving toward her, he said, "You're stunning."

Simona waited outside the classroom at the university, anticipating Stephen's arrival. Knowing his schedule, she hadn't told him she was coming. However, after most students had left, he still hadn't appeared. Stopping a classmate, she asked, "Excuse me, is Stephen still in class?"

"Stephen? Didn't he take a leave of absence today?" the classmate replied.

Simona was astonished. A leave of absence? Stephen never took time off. They'd seen each other yesterday, and he'd mentioned nothing about today. Could he be ill?

She immediately called him, but received no answer. Finally, she contacted his roommate, who informed her that Stephen hadn't been at the dorm all day.

"He's not on campus and is skipping class? What could he be doing?" Simona wondered, perplexed.

Half an hour later, Stephen called back. "Simona, is something wrong? I was busy and didn't hear my phone." His voice was hushed, as if he were in a quiet place.

Simona paused. "You didn't go to class today, did you? And you weren't at the dorm either."

Stephen was silent for a few seconds. "My second eldest sister came to town and had some problems, so I took the day off. Sorry, I didn't tell you beforehand."

"What? Your sister's in trouble? What happened? Can you handle it yourself? If you need help, I can come over now," Simona responded anxiously. Moments before, she'd been wondering about his whereabouts and whether he was seeing another woman. After all, many women at the university admired him.
