"I'll show the Jakemans a semblance of respect regarding today's events. But if she dares to feign innocence with me again, I'll ensure everyone in Jipsburg learns what she did."

Minerva ended the call, then sent a recording of their conversation to Rowan, adding a pointed message before blocking him. Upon hearing the recording, Rowan was stunned.
