Chapter 198
Alice, now experienced, remained calm as she observed the spectacle before her. Her male companion, unable to contain himself, blushed and leaned closer. "Miss, would you like to inspect it first?" he asked, guiding her hand towards his crotch. Alice gently withdrew her hand, smiling coldly. "I've already seen what I needed. Very impressive," she replied.
He licked his lips, sat up, and gestured for her to touch his abdomen, struggling to maintain his composure. Caden watched from a distance, his expression cold and impassive. He recognized the escort's tactics, and they irritated him.
The escort grew impatient. Resisting Alice's charms was difficult; her mere presence aroused desire. Caden angrily slammed his glass on the table. Gerry, startled, asked, "Caden, what's wrong?"
Caden, eyes fixed on Alice, replied coldly, "Pour me a drink." His sharp tone surprised Gerry. Was Caden about to do something reckless? He looked furious but said nothing more. Gerry quickly poured him a drink.
Meanwhile, Alice and her companion remained unperturbed. She nonchalantly enjoyed the fruit he offered, her composure undisturbed despite the tension. Soon, Monica, drunk, wanted to leave. Her companion eagerly offered to take her home.
Alice, aware of Monica's shy nature despite her boasting, politely declined. As they left the bar, the Flynn family's driver arrived, taking Monica and expressing his gratitude. Alice smiled politely in return.
Monica, leaning against the car window, looked at the passenger with regret. "Alice," she said, her thoughts seemingly confused, "I already paid. You should have fun with him too."
Alice was speechless. Monica narrowed her eyes and held up two fingers. "Just two!" she shouted. "That's more than Caden has ever…"
Horrified, Alice quickly covered Monica's mouth, pushed her into the car, and told the driver to roll up the window. Gerry, curious, asked, "More of what?"
Under Caden's intense gaze, Alice offered an awkward smile. "I don't know. She talks nonsense when she's drunk." Gerry, sensing the awkwardness, accepted her explanation.
It was late and cold. Gerry, ready to leave, asked Caden, "Shall we go back together?" Caden's eyes remained on Alice, his expression unreadable. "Go ahead," he said emotionlessly. "I'm going to have a cigarette."
Gerry left. Alice noticed her companion was gone. Caden lit a cigarette. "He's in the car outside, waiting for you," he said.
Alice looked at him; it was the first time she'd seen him smoke. Surprisingly, it made him seem more attractive and mysterious. His coolness seemed to effortlessly captivate women.
"Okay," she replied indifferently, her voice distant. As she started to leave, Caden narrowed his eyes and followed. "Hooking up with someone randomly when you're angry isn't sensible," he said.
Alice stopped. Their eyes met; his held a mocking glint. "Besides," she added, "its size isn't particularly impressive."
Taking a deep breath, she smiled. "You're overthinking it. I didn't spend the money to let off steam, but because I'm tired of the same old routine and I fancy something different."
Caden's gaze remained fixed on her. The dim cigarette light cast a sinister glow in his dark eyes. Was she tired of him?
"Good. I hope your night is memorable," he said.
"You too," Alice replied calmly.
As she turned to leave, he grabbed her wrist. Before she could react, he pulled her close and kissed her roughly—more of a bite than a kiss. Every movement was filled with aggression, as if to dominate her.
Alice's eyes flew open. Resistance was futile. He held her firmly, his relentless exploration of her mouth showing no sign of stopping. The taste of tobacco lingered, dulling his senses. Then, a sharp pain shot through his lips.
Caden loosened his grip slightly, allowing their breaths to mingle. The pain lingered; she felt blood. She stared at him, her anger evident. He quickly licked the blood from his lip.
Alice found his behavior unbearable. "Caden, what the hell do you want?" she asked, the pain in her chest deepening.
He loosened his grip. "Just a kiss. What's the problem?" His eyes burned with desire, but his voice remained casual. "Go ahead. Your date shouldn't have to wait."
