Chapter 262:

He walked around the area but found nothing that caught his attention. The jeweler, aware of Caden's wealth and status, presented him with the finest stones.

"These colors are impressive," the jeweler said. "Would you like to take a look?"

Caden asked, "Don't you have any roses?"

The jeweler chuckled. “This is for your girlfriend, isn’t it? Unfortunately, finding a pink stone is quite challenging. Even ordering one depends on luck; it could take anywhere from ten days to ten years. Why don’t you consider these blue and green options? They’re equally stunning.”

Caden picked up a stone. He believed nothing could compare to a pink gem. Noting Caden's determination, the jeweler offered, “I have a rare, finished pink piece, but it's only available at auction. If you're interested, I can reserve it for you.”

Caden examined the photograph. It was, indeed, something Alicia would appreciate. Just as he was about to make the reservation, he saw a familiar face. Caden's eyes lit up. Alice? He looked up and saw someone weaving through the crowd.

“Caden!”

His excitement waned when he saw it was Yolanda, bundled in a long white coat and waving. Alice had a similar coat. Yolanda approached and stood beside him.

“What do you want to buy?” she asked.

Caden replied curtly, “Didn’t I ask you to stay in the living room? What are you doing here?”

“It’s too hot inside. I just wanted to stretch my legs,” Yolanda explained cautiously. “The doctor assured me that nothing is wrong. I’ll be back in no more than two hours.”

Since he was already outside, Caden didn't insist.

“Are you looking at gemstones?” Yolanda asked, picking up a blue one. “This one is stunning. Are there any finished pieces available?”

Caden had planned to do something nice for her anyway, so he decided to buy her one. Yolanda tended to be quite indulgent, and in addition to jewelry, she urged him to check out some perfumes. She glanced at the selection. By chance, he ended up trying the same fragrance Alicia preferred. Wearing her similar coat, the familiar scent felt fated, leading to a spontaneous purchase. After spraying it on, she felt a surge of excitement.
