Chapter 375:
The wallpaper on Alicia's phone had been reset to its default setting. Caden pursed his lips, opened WhatsApp, and removed himself from her blocked contacts list. He then removed his phone number as well. Just as he finished, a new message appeared. Blake had texted Alicia: “Ms. Bennett, are you finished changing?”
Caden narrowed his eyes and immediately deleted Blake's number. When Alicia emerged from changing, she saw him manipulating her phone and frowned. "What are you doing?"
The maid, sensing the tension, discreetly left the room. Caden casually placed the phone down. "I mistook it for mine. Just realized it's yours."
Alicia was speechless. She took back her phone, her gaze unwavering. He didn't confess, but she knew what he'd done. "Caden, you're overstepping," she stated.
Caden remained calm. "I was checking your WhatsApp. Some men claim collaboration but seek something else. I removed them for your safety." He carefully avoided mentioning Blake.
Alicia's irritation flared. "Who gave you the right to delete my contacts? My life isn't just about work. They're my friends."
Caden replied coldly, "I didn't remove any true friends, only those with dishonest intentions."
"Those are respectable men I chose carefully. What right do you have to delete them?"
Caden produced his own phone. "Looking for respectable men? I can share my WhatsApp."
Alicia was speechless. He was unbelievable. Lifting the hem of her dress, she walked away, her expression frigid.
Caden raised an eyebrow, about to follow, when he noticed a men's jacket by the door. Without hesitation, he threw it in the trash.
Alicia returned, realizing she'd left Blake's jacket. Finding it in the garbage, her glare burned into Caden. He remained unconcerned. "What's wrong?"
Alicia's breath hitched. "Is that jacket yours? Why did you throw it away?"
Caden glanced at the discarded garment. "It's not mine, but it's so hideous it irritates me. I don't like it," he said provocatively. "Whose is it? They must have terrible taste."
Alicia was beyond simply upset. "Caden, do you realize what your actions imply?"
