Chapter 590:
He understood Alicia had orchestrated the day's chaos. She had suffered much injustice, and now she was making Yolanda pay. But as a father, Dorian wouldn't allow his daughter to stoop so low.
"Alicia, whether you like it or not, my earlier condition still stands," Dorian declared firmly. "Furthermore, I will ensure Yolanda apologizes publicly, before all the media." He felt he'd done all he could. Alicia remained unmoved.
"Miss Moss isn't some precious gem. Her apology means nothing to me," she retorted.
Just as everyone anticipated escalation, Alicia shifted tone. "Mr. Hampton, I need privacy."
Corey, surprised, immediately summoned security to escort the reporters away. Soon, only a few remained.
Dorian turned to Yolanda. "Apologize."
Yolanda's body stiffened in reluctant defiance. Alicia interjected, "I don't care about her apology, but someone else needs one." She looked at Caden. "Did you bring bodyguards?"
Caden hesitated. "I brought my uncle."
Alicia looked at Benedict. "That's pointless. We need bodyguards," she clarified.
Caden questioned, "What for?"
"I intend to take Yolanda somewhere," Alicia stated. "Bodyguards will prevent trouble."
A knot tightened in Dorian's heart. "Alicia, what exactly do you plan?"
"I want her to go to the cemetery and apologize to Mrs. Ward," Alicia replied.
Dorian's expression changed. A flicker of guilt crossed Yolanda's face, perhaps amplified by Caden's presence, leaving her momentarily breathless.
Dorian protested, "That was Corey's doing. Why punish Yolanda?"
