"I'm here, Alicia," he reassured her.

She stood on the roof of a fifty-story building, the vista sprawling endlessly before her. Caden leaned casually against the handrail, his smile partially obscuring the magnificent scene. Behind him stood a grand castle, identical to the model they had assembled in the office just hours earlier.

Alicia's mouth fell open in amazement; her own heartbeat filled her ears. "Caden," she breathed, overwhelmed, able to utter only his name.

His lips curled into a delighted smile. "Do you like it?"
