Chapter 180
Amber pouted, her hair wiggling as she grumbled, โNo way I was coming back with her. Her bike is so ugly, itโs totally embarrassing! And you have no idea how bad her temper is. Sienna, doesnโt the school have dorms? Can you please make her stay there instead?โ
Winifred leaned against the doorway, looking as carefree as ever. โI could hear some idiot badmouthing me from a mile away.โ
โWho are you calling an idiot!โ Amber snapped, puffing up in anger as she glared daggers at Winifred.
Winifred replied lazily. โIf you think Iโm talking about you, then I probably am. At least you know yourself well.โ
โWinifred, youโre so freaking annoying!โ Amber yelled.
โLook whoโs talking," Winifred shot back without missing a beat.
Sienna watched as the two kept bickering, until Amber finally lost the battleโpouting and teary-eyed, she ran over to Sienna to complain.
โSienna, Winifred is such a pain! I canโt stand herโsheโs the absolute worst! Sienna, can I sleep with you tonight, please?โ Amber pouted, looking all pitiful as she clung to her.
Amber gave her a gentle, doting smile. โOf course.โ
Winifred shot Amber a look of utter disdain. Seriously? How old is she now, still acting all cutesy and clingy? What, is she gonna die if she sleeps alone? So extra, so take What a childish idiot. Sheโs just hopeless.
โAlmost eighteen and she still needs someone to sleep with her! If I were her, Iโd be mortified. Heck, Iโm embarrassed for her.โ
Winifred herself couldnโt stand sharing a bed with anyone. Just the thought of it was annoying as hell.
Seeing Winifred standing there quietly by herself, Sienna asked, โWinifred, do you want to come with us too?โ
Without even thinking, Winifred blurted out, โYeah.โ
Amber shot her a look. โSienna, Iโm not used to sharing a bed with people who arenโt family,โ
Winifred snorted. โGood, because Iโve never had the habit of sleeping with idiots. So just go back to your own room."
Amber stomped her foot, gritting her teeth in frustration. โWinifred, you should go back to your own room instead!โ
โJust because you say so? Who put you in charge?" Winifred shot back, a taunting grin on her face.
Her eyes flashed with contempt and scorn, which only made Amber even angrierโher ahoge practically stood on end in fury. Amber practically shouted, โWinifred!โ
At the Winslow family executive suite, Thorn sat in his wheelchair, eyes sharp and calculating. โSo, have you made up your mind? If this final move works, your family will shoot straight to the top, and the Hart Corporation will be completely crushed beneath your feet."
โAlright, Mr. Nair, Iโll work with you. But thereโs something I donโt get. As far as I know, you donโt have any grudge against the Hart Corporation, so why are you targeting Sienna?โ Henry looked at the man with striking features in front of him, clearly puzzled.
Thorn chuckled. โI might have a grudge against her, or I might not. Thatโs not something you need to worry about, Mr. Winslow. My only condition is that you canโt hurt Sienna.โ
Henry couldnโt help but ask, โDo you have some kind of relationship with Sienna?โ
Thornโs lips curled into a sly, almost affectionate smile. โSheโs my wife."
Henry nearly spat out his drink, coughing and gasping for air. โHis wife! Is he pulling my leg?โ
โRelax, I was just joking, Mr. Winslow. No need to get so worked up," Thorn said with a smirk.
โMr. Nair, that was really creepy. Please, donโt joke around like that againโmy heart canโt take it," Henry said, still trying to catch his breath.
Thorn just smiled and kept quiet, wondering, If Sienna really were my wife, I wouldโve chopped up this old man and fed him to the linh

time ago. No way would I let him stand here, scheming against my dear Hazel.
Still. Thorn always felt that the name Sienna didnโt suit her at allโit sounded too wild, too unrestrained, like she could slip away at any moment. Hazel was so much better, soft and delicate, just like the iris heโd carefully nurtured in his own hands.
After their showers, Amber and Winifred both hugged their pillows and raced straight for Siennaโs room, practically sprinting down the hall only to run into each other right at the doorway.
Amber tried to dart in first, but Winifred just shot her a lazy grin and deliberately stuck out her foot in no hurry at all.
Amber caught her foot and lurched forward, almost falling flat, but Winifred smoothly grabbed her by the back of the collar, hauled her up, and tossed her behind without missing a beat.
โLook at you, canโt even walk straightโare you brainless or what? Seriously, youโre a certified idiot," Winifred mocked.
Amberโs face flushed bright red, her eyes brimming with tears, โWinifred, you vile, shameless jerk! I wish some evil monster could just snatch you up. I canโt stand you!โ
Amber was still freaked outโjust a little more and she wouldโve faceplanted.
Winifred just shrugged, totally unfazed. โYou talking about me? Sorry, not buying it.โ
With that, she darted inside and slammed the door with a loud bang.
