Chapter 299
Amber stood with her hands on her hips, looking down at him from above.
โGo ahead, and curse at me one more time. I dare you,โ Amber said, her tone mocking. โYouโre the one begging for my help right now, Hudson. If you donโt want my help, I can just walk out and get everyone outside to come help you instead.โ
Hudson was fuming, but he was helpless. After all, she had dirt on him.
โHurry up already,โ Amber urged. She took a good look and said honestly, โWow, your buttโs really something. Even you managed to get it stuck here.โ
Hudsonโs face flushed bright red, both embarrassed and angry. โAmber, do you actually have a way to get me out or not? Stop talking so much crap and just help me already.โ
Amber thought for a second, then said, โIโll help you up. Just stick your butt out and ram it into the wallโshouldnโt the fish tank break then? Come on, let me help you.โ
Hudson felt absolutely mortified, but he just had to go along with it.
There was a loud bang against the wall, but the fish tank didnโt even have a scratch on it.
โThis thingโs way too solid. Thereโs no way weโre breaking it,โ Amber said. After several tries, Amber flopped onto the sofa, completely out of breath.
Hudsonโs whole body ached from the impact.
โSeriously, what kind of fish tank did you buy? Is this thing made of steel or something?โ Amber complained.
Hudson looked miserable. โI bought it on the way here. Cost me 600 dollars.โ
โNo wonder,โ Amber said. โIf youโd gotten a cheaper one, we mightโve actually broken it. But I have another idea.โ
Hudson didnโt know if it was because of Amber or what, but his mind went totally blank.
โIโll go get a bucket of oil and slather it on you. That should help you slide out, right?โ Amber suggested.
Hudson nodded. โMakes sense. Open the door and have Alex bring it over. But donโt let anyone else in, and donโt you dare tell them whatโs happening, you hear me?โ
โGot it,โ Amber said, her mind now completely set on one thing, and that was getting Hudsonโs butt out of that fish tank.
Alex looked baffled about why she needed a whole bucket of oil, but he still obediently brought it over. Amber grabbed the oil and banged the door shut behind her.
She twisted open the oil and walked over. โHudson, here comes the oil.โ
โAlright, do it,โ Hudson replied.
Amber started pouring oil over his shoulders, and Hudson immediately felt some relief. He lit up with excitement. โHey, itโs working. Add some more.โ
โSure.โ Amber nodded.
She dumped the whole bucket of oil over him and stepped back. The whole room reeked of cooking oil, and it was pretty nasty. Hudson gave the fish tank a good kick and finally managed to wriggle free.
โAmber, thanks,โ Hudson said.
Amber turned her head away. โGo get dressed first. If thereโs nothing else, Iโll head out.โ
โAlright, Iโll treat you to dinner next time,โ Hudson said.
Just as Amber was about to step out, she heard a loud thud behind her. Hudson had slipped on the oil and crashed to the floor, smacking his head on the table and passing out cold.
