Chapter 382

Amber clapped her hand over her mouth in shock. โ€œWhat? Itโ€™s already been a month? But just yesterday you werenโ€™t pregnant! Didnโ€™t you only get pregnant today?โ€

Amber was so excited and surprised that she didnโ€™t realize what sheโ€™d blurted out. The whole room burst out laughing, especially Reno, who clutched his stomach.

โ€œHaha,โ€ Reno chuckled. โ€œYou guys arenโ€™t allowed to laugh! Stop laughing!โ€ Amberโ€™s face flushed crimson, flustered and mortified. She was completely at a loss.

Her brain struggled to catch up, thenโ€”smack!โ€”she slapped her forehead. It suddenly dawned on her what she'd said. Thereโ€™s no way anyone could know theyโ€™re pregnant the very next day after conceiving, she thought, mortified.

โ€œYou guys better not laugh. Hmph, Iโ€™m ignoring all of you now,โ€ Amber huffed, still red-faced. Burning with embarrassment, she bolted into the house.

Meanwhile, Julian stayed close by, tending to Sienna carefully. โ€œIโ€™ve already hired three nannies who specialize in caring for pregnant women,โ€ he said. โ€œFrom now on, theyโ€™ll help with your meals.โ€

Sienna smiled faintly. โ€œWhatever you say.โ€

โ€œSienna, I know Iโ€™m pushing my luck,โ€ Julian said, taking her hand. โ€œBut for the whole next year, I want to stick to you like glue, never letting you out of my sight.โ€

Sienna smiled. โ€œAlright, except for a few special circumstances.โ€

โ€œSure,โ€ Julian nodded.

Meanwhile, Tanya was locked in a pitch-black room, crying for help, but everyone ignored her. She hadnโ€™t even gotten a sip of water. Hearing the laughter outside, Tanya shouted at the top of her lungs, โ€œLet me out! Let me out! I swear Iโ€™m innocent! I didnโ€™t even touch Sienna! You canโ€™t keep me locked up like this. Itโ€™s illegal! Iโ€™m going to call the cops!โ€

โ€œHelp! Let me out!โ€

Sienna stopped. Lana stepped forward, โ€œMiss Enna, itโ€™s Tanya, Paigeโ€™s daughter.โ€

At those words, Sienna recalled the moment sheโ€™d passed out. โ€œLet her out,โ€ Sienna said.

โ€œYes.โ€

When Tanya saw the door open, she was ecstatic and hurried over. โ€œYouโ€™re finally here! Let me out already!โ€

โ€œCome on, Miss Enna wants to see you.โ€

Tanya was pulled along, and when she spotted Sienna safe and sound, she grinned widely and giggled. โ€œOh my god, youโ€™re okay! Youโ€™re really okay!โ€ she blurted out.

But then Tanya quickly backed up. โ€œI swear I didnโ€™t push you. Sienna, you canโ€™t blame me! You were trying to set me up.โ€

Siennaโ€™s icy gaze landed on her. โ€œWerenโ€™t you about to push me?โ€

Tanyaโ€™s eyes darted away, guilt evident on her face. She stammered, โ€œAnyway, this has nothing to do with me anymore, so can I go now?โ€

โ€œTanya,โ€ Sienna said, โ€œyour mother asked if you could stay at the Hart residence. You seemed to enjoy yourself, so Iโ€™ve decided to let you stay.โ€

As soon as Sienna said that, Tanya went white, totally freaked out. โ€œNo way! I donโ€™t want to stay at your place! My momโ€™s not right in the head. Sheโ€™s got some kind of crazy illness and always talks nonsense. Iโ€™m leaving! Iโ€™m leaving right now!โ€ Tanya shouted.

Tanya dashed from the Hart residence in a panic, as if someone terrifying were chasing her. She glanced nervously over her shoulder, only slowing down when she saw no one was following.
