Chapter 82
โSave your guesses. Iโll show you how this ends,โ Sienna sneered. Without another word, she lashed out with a swift kick, sending Jocelyn flying across the room.
Jocelyn shrieked, but before she even had the chance to tumble down the stairs, Siennaโs merciless kick sent her flying through the air. With a heavy thud, Jocelyn hit the floor like a sack of potatoes, collapsing in a limp heap.
Sienna barely took a few steps. โThe fall isnโt far enough to kill or cripple her, just enough to make her spit some blood. What a pity,โ she thought coldly.
Sienna stood imperiously tall, her icy, aloof gaze sweeping disdainfully down at Jocelyn sprawled on the ground beneath her.
โJocelyn?โ Three voices cried out at once as Linda burst into the room, pushing Aiden in his wheelchair.
They helped Jocelyn up, but she was coughing up blood, crimson streaks dripping from her nose. The pain was excruciating. Every breath felt like shards of glass tearing through her chest.
Jocelyn, holding back tears, looked at her parents. โMom, Dad, it was Sienna. I just wanted to explain everything to her, but sheโฆโ
Aidenโs fury burned through him as he clenched his fists. His body throbbed with lingering pain. His dislocated bones hadnโt fully healed, only to witness this scene.
โSienna, what the hell are you doing? Trying to cripple her? Sheโs your sister. How could you be so vicious?โ Aiden snapped.
Lindaโs eyes burned with fury as she hissed at Sienna, โIf Jocelyn comes to any harm, I swear to God youโll pay for this.โ
Jocelyn still clung tightly to Amberโs hand, her voice gentle and wounded as she said, โAmber, please donโt blame Sienna. This is all my fault. I never should have intruded into your family. Please, keep your sisterly bond strong. Donโt let my presence come between you all, okay?โ
Tears welled up in Amberโs eyes as she wiped them away, her heart aching. Her voice trembled as she called out, โJocelyn?โ
Amber whirled around to confront Sienna, her voice shaking with fury. โHow could you do this? Youโre absolutely heartless. You monster.โ
A dull ache throbbed in Siennaโs chest, accompanied by a faint sense of suffocation. She offered no explanation.
Sienna sneered and snapped, โAre you done? Then get the hell out.โ
Siennaโs utter lack of remorse only made Aidenโs face burn crimson with rage.
Linda wailed hysterically, โHoney, I canโt go on living. I just canโt. How can I face the world when my daughter is being bullied like this? I canโt even protect my girl.โ
Aiden bellowed, โSienna, get down here and apologize this instant.โ
Sienna descended the stairs step by step, then suddenly lashed out with a vicious kick to Jocelynโs shin.
โAh, Sienna, you bitch,โ Jocelyn gasped in pain as she jerked upright, her face contorted with agony and rage.
โSienna, what the hell are you trying to do? Must you tear this family apart and turn our home upside down?โ Boiling with rage, Aiden felt completely disregarded.
โDad, do you want me to apologize?โ Sienna pinned him with a glacial stare.
Aiden gnashed his teeth, nearly intimidated once more by that damn girlโs overwhelming presence. He snapped, โYes, Sienna. Why did you hit her?โ
Sienna sneered, โShe was begging for a beating, shoving herself in my face. Shouldnโt I do her the honor? Right, Jocelyn Turner?โ
Linda shot back angrily, โMy daughterโs name is Jocelyn Hart.โ
โNot for much longer.โ Siennaโs words, light as air, crashed over Aiden, Linda, and Jocelyn like a tidal wave.
Aiden roared, โSienna, what the hell do you want from us? Jocelyn is also my daughter.โ
Sienna snapped back mercilessly, โWhatโs that to me?โ
Aiden was momentarily speechless. After a pause, he snapped, โIโm your father. I have every right to have a say over you.โ
