Unrepairable Love Chapter 339
Elizabeth caught a whiff of something nasty in his grin. Elijah smirked, โHit up Alexander and tell him youโve been snatched. Letโs see if heโs got the guts to come save you!โ
Elizabethโs face turned icy. The last thing she wanted was to drag Alexander into this mess, but Elijah was hell-bent on it.
โIโm not doing it,โ Elizabeth muttered, her voice low but firm.
โYou sure about that? This is your one shot!โ Elijah lifted her chin, grinning. โWouldnโt it suck if you ended up dead?โ
โYouโre underestimating the cops,โ Elizabeth said, staring off into the distance. She could hear the sirens getting louder.
Elijah followed her gaze, and sure enough, the sirens were closing in. His grip on her chin tightened. Elizabeth was really pushing his buttons!
โMaybe I should just off you now!โ Elijah growled, his teeth clenched.
Elizabeth sneered, โIf you kill me, youโre toast too. Iโm not just anyone, you know.โ
โJust the Percy familyโs heiress, right?โ Elijah scoffed. โIโm a hitman, you think Iโm scared?โ
With that, Elijah pulled out a dagger. If he cut the rope behind her, Elizabeth would fall. If she died, theyโd split. No one would ever know. Itโd be the perfect crime!
Elijah sneered, โLast chance, Elizabeth. Wanna call Alexander?โ
Elizabethโs eyes were steely. Sheโd rather die than ask Alexander for help.
Elijah didnโt see that coming.
โAlright then,โ Elijah nodded, the dagger catching the moonlight. โYou asked for it. Donโt blame me for not playing nice.โ Elijah, ready to cut the rope.
Elizabeth stayed calm and said coldly, โIโm a Chury MIโฆโ
Elijah squinted, โYou think Iโm stupid?โ
Chapter 339
โI can prove it!โ Elizabeth said, dead serious.
The sirens were getting closer, and Elijah cursed, โQuit stalling!โ With that, Elijahโs dagger was about to come down again.
Just then, someone shouted from behind, โBoss!โ
Elijah cursed, โWhy is it so damn hard to kill her? Whatโs all the fuss about?โ
Isaac scratched his head, looking worried, โBoss, someoneโs comingโฆโ
โSomeone? Who?โ Elijah glanced down. There was a car with its headlights on. Someone really was coming. But it wasnโt the cops, just one person.
A flashlight beam swept up from below. Elizabeth couldnโt see who it was, but she knew someone was there.
Elizabeth rocked the chair, making small stones tumble from the edge of the unfinished building. โHelp!โ
โShut up!โ Elijah quickly covered her mouth.
Elizabeth looked up at Elijah and bit his finger hard, making him pull back in pain.
โPlay fair. Someoneโs here, let me go!โ Elizabeth shouted.
โThat doesnโt count!โ Elijah cursed.
โIโm here!โ Elizabeth yelled down.
Elijah rushed over and covered her mouth again.
