Unrepairable Love Chapter 541

When Elizabeth turned to head to the bus stop, she noticed a car parked by the roadside. Alexander was leaning against it, smoking a cigarette, and just happened to look up. He blew out a smoke ring, straightened up, and stubbed out the cigarette, tossing it into the trash can.

Elizabeth frowned and pulled her coat tighter around her, clearly not wanting to deal with him. Alexander walked toward her, carrying a faint scent of tobacco. Since he didnโ€™t smoke often, the smell wasnโ€™t strong. But Elizabeth still didnโ€™t like it.

โ€œOff work?โ€ he asked, trying to be patient.

Elizabeth nodded, looking at him. โ€œWhat a coincidence, Mr. Tudor. Iโ€™m heading home.โ€ She knew he was waiting for her, but she didnโ€™t want anything to do with him.

โ€œI was waiting for you. Get in the car; Iโ€™ll take you home,โ€ Alexander said, gesturing to the car.

Elizabeth was even more puzzled by him. โ€˜What does he want?โ€™ she wondered.

โ€œIf youโ€™re here to apologize, I accept it. Donโ€™t waste your time. Everyoneโ€™s busy,โ€ she said dismissively. Compared to Alexanderโ€™s patience, Elizabeth was more curt.

โ€œGet in the car,โ€ Alexander repeated. He didnโ€™t respond directly but pulled her toward the car.

Elizabeth yanked her arm away, angry. โ€œAlexander, donโ€™t you get what Iโ€™m saying?โ€

โ€œIโ€™m really sorry, and I want to make it up to you,โ€ he said sincerely.

Elizabeth laughed. โ€œYou say you want to make it up to me, but you need to give me a chance to let you, right?โ€

โ€œThatโ€™s why Iโ€™m trying now,โ€ Alexander said calmly.

Elizabeth was at a loss for words. Indeed, he was trying to get a chance to make it up to her.

โ€œI forgive you, but I donโ€™t need you to make it up to me. Just donโ€™t show up in front of me again,โ€ she said, her whole demeanor screaming rejection. She was very disdainful. Her life was fulfilling now, and she didnโ€™t want Alexander to disturb her.

โ€œJust this once, Iโ€™ll take you home, and I wonโ€™t come again,โ€ he said.

Elizabeth smiled slightly. โ€œSorry, but not even this last time.โ€ With that, she started to walk away.

At that moment, a car pulled up beside them. Elizabeth saw someone she knew get out of the sports car. This was bad.

โ€œAlexander, youโ€™re here,โ€ Ivan said, somewhat surprised.

Elizabeth glared at Alexander and tried to pull her hand away, but Alexander only held on tighter.

โ€œWhat are you two doing?โ€ Ivan looked at their hands, puzzled.

โ€œElizabeth, off work? Let me take you to dinner. I know a great restaurant!โ€ Ivan said, coming to her side and deliberately trying to remove Alexanderโ€™s hand.

Alexander tightened his grip on Elizabethโ€™s hand and pulled her to his side. โ€œIvan, I was here first,โ€ he reminded him.

Ivan gave a lazy smile. When it comes to pursuing love, who cares who shows up first? If the first one takes her away, then the one who comes later wonโ€™t even have a chance to try? The best thing is to let Elizabeth choose for herself, Ivan thought.

He turned to Elizabeth and asked directly, โ€œAre you going with me or with him?โ€

Elizabeth was really angry. โ€œI want to go home!โ€ She thought, I am an independent person, not their toy. What are they thinking?

However, Ivan insisted, โ€œNo, you have to choose one of us!โ€
