“Noelle, I was blinded by my emotions last time when I said I wanted to steal Nicolas from you. I’ve reflected on it, and I hope you can forgive me,” Leia said to Noelle with a seemingly sincere attitude.

Noelle was dumbfounded and didn’t respond immediately. Her gaze was fixated on Leia, as if she was scrutinizing something.

Leia felt uncomfortable under Noelle’s gaze, as if she were being seen through. She couldn’t help but grumble inwardly, “Is this woman mute? After I said so much, she has no reaction at all.”

Just as Leia was starting to feel uneasy, Bennett stepped in to break the awkwardness.

He smiled at Noelle and said, “Noelle, look at how sincere your sister is. Don’t be angry anymore. We’re family, and there’s no grudge that lasts overnight, right?”

Hearing this, Noelle turned to glance at Bennett, who was blinking at her with a mischievous smile.

Bennett was always full of clever ideas. Since he said that, Noelle reckoned he must have a plan.

So, she looked back at Leia and said, “Alright, since you’ve apologized, let’s just put the past behind us.”

“Really! I’m so happy! Noelle, you’re the best!” Leia was overjoyed.

She stepped forward to give Noelle a quick hug before pulling away just as fast. Her face maintained a gentle smile, her eyes sparkling, almost as if she were glowing with an angelic aura.

When Noelle saw this, she couldn’t help but be impressed with Leia’s acting skills.

Later, Noelle went to Bennett and asked him what was going on, “Why is Leia putting on a show again?”

Bennett ruffled the girl’s hair and said with a smile, “Just let her be. It won’t last much longer anyway.”

She asked, “Bennett, can you explain more clearly! Are you planning to get rid of Leia!”

“Sort of. It won’t be long before Mom and Dad kick her out,” Bennett was still speaking in riddles.

Leia then added, “Aren’t you the composer for The Legend? You must’ve made quite a bit from that, right?”

“Yeah, one song pays three million dollars. I wrote ten songs, so they gave me thirty million dollars,” Noelle replied truthfully.

Upon hearing this, Leia was shocked. “What? You’re making that much money right at the start of your career?”

Noelle replied, “Yes, they said my compositions are worth that much.”

“Wow, that’s great…” Leia was both envious and jealous, but on the surface, she still “sincerely” congratulated her. “Noelle, you’re amazing. I’m really happy for you. You have to keep writing more incredible songs in the future!”
