Chapter 350: Found Out

Yannick, feeling impulsive, quickly redialed the number. "Calvin, I apologize. I have something serious to discuss."

Calvin listened patiently as Yannick explained, "Didn't you tell me to acquire Rainsworth Group's recent projects? Everything went smoothly initially, but the latest project was discovered. Nathaniel showed no mercy to those attempting to steal his business."

Calvin didn't reveal that the current Rainsworth Group president was an imposter. He simply replied, "Let's hold off for now." He realized he'd underestimated the imposter.

"All right," Yannick agreed.

Meanwhile, Nathaniel received a call from his bodyguard in Tudela. He learned Jonathan had been at a club, and his real name was indeed Jonathan. Nathaniel was surprised a child of that age was at a club, especially since there had been spending involved.

He hung up as he heard footsteps and a man's voice outside. His brow furrowed as he rose and left the room.

Calvin and Cecilia had just returned from grocery shopping. The chill from outside swept in as Nathaniel asked, "Ceci, do we have guests?"

Before Cecilia could answer, Calvin smiled slightly. "Mr. Rainsworth, it's me, Calvin."

Nathaniel's expression shifted subtly. Cecilia stepped forward. "I'll go cook; you two chat."

After speaking with Calvin, she noticed no tension between the men. Two voices simultaneously offered to help. Cecilia, already at the kitchen doorway, heard Calvin say, "Mr. Rainsworth is blind; let me help you instead, Cecilia."

Nathaniel's handsome face fell. Cecilia, noting Nathaniel's lingering presence and limited cooking skills (his repertoire essentially consisted of boiling rice), decided to go with the flow.

"All right," she agreed.

Calvin, with a smug look at Nathaniel, followed Cecilia into the kitchen.

Left alone, Nathaniel heard their laughter and conversation, a bitter taste in his mouth. He longed to punch Calvin. He clenched his fists, and surprisingly, fragments of a memory surfaced—him punching Calvin. Had he assaulted Calvin before?

Just as he tried to recall more, Jonathan entered. Seeing Nathaniel's displeasure and then the scene in the kitchen, Jonathan immediately understood.

Jonathan dropped his backpack and sat beside Nathaniel. "Feeling defeated? I suggest you return to the Rainsworth family. With your status, women will be throwing themselves at you," Jonathan said unconcernedly.

Nathaniel's brows lifted slightly. "Before I leave, I want to ask you a question, Jonathan."

Jonathan was startled. "How did you know my name is Jonathan?"

Nathaniel didn't answer, instead asking, "Elliot Reese is your twin brother, right? Why…"

Jonathan dismissed him. "That's because one of us took our mother's surname, and the other our father's. You're remarkably dense not to know that. Elliot's with our father. Thinking of dragging him back here too?"
