Chapter 557: An Influencer

After Jonathan's kidnapping made headlines, he unexpectedly gained notoriety. Numerous people searched online for information about him, yet their searches yielded no results, puzzling many. Comments flooded in: "We really like this calm kid. What's his name? We'd love to get to know him." Others echoed, "Exactly! He seems like a budding star," and "He's even more handsome than a movie star! He's sure to grow up to be extraordinarily attractive." This online enthusiasm propelled Jonathan to the top of search engine trends.

Vivian, upon discovering this, was surprised. "I always knew Jon's face was favored, but I didn't expect thisโ€”he's trending higher than Eric, the top-tier celebrity returning home! That's insane!" She immediately showed Jonathan the news at noon. He wasn't shocked.

"Ms. Kennedy," he sighed, "instead of this, you should be thinking about increasing your salary from three thousand to ten thousand. In a place as expensive as Tudela, how can one survive on just three thousand? Now that you have a son to raise, do you really plan to only spend the Sinclair family's money?" He patted her shoulder. Vivian felt schooled by a childโ€”a child far from unsettled after his kidnapping. He was, she thought, more like a little demon. An ordinary child would still be crying. The previous night, it was Jonathan who had comforted her, speaking of death's inevitability and the journey to another world after death.

"I want to work hard," Vivian said, "but how is it possible to make big money with a desk job? If I were your mom, it would be different. I'd just compose music." She saw herself as ordinary, wanting only enough to eat and warm clothes to wear.

Jonathan was somewhat speechless at her nonchalant attitude. "Ms. Kennedy, I have an idea for making money," he said.

"What is it?"

"Isn't being an influencer quite lucrative these days? You could make money live-streaming," he suggested. He'd had an epiphany after his ordeal: money was essential to avoid being bullied. Influencing was just the first step.

Vivian was taken aback. "Me?"

"I initially wanted to take the stage myself, but I'm underage," Jonathan explained. "If you keep working for others, you'll always be at the bottom. However, if you're willing to live-stream and make videos, I can assist you."

"How do I start?"

"You could sign up for an account as 'my mommy.'"

He showed her a computer account already set up, with a million followers. She couldn't believe it. "How did you get so many fans?"

"Through a little maneuvering," he replied, "they all found out you were the child's mother from yesterday."

While Vivian was still researching, Jonathan added, "Ms. Kennedy, I've already emailed the company. You've honorably resigned." Vivian, initially wanting to reprimand him, then saw a message from a company asking if she was interested in a contract. They would manage her account, splitting profits fifty-fifty, and provide a monthly allowance of two hundred thousand to start.

"Jon, you're incredibly impressive," she exclaimed.

"Ms. Kennedy," he whispered, "this is our little secret. Let's not tell Mommy just yet. We'll let her in on it once we have the money."

Vivian nodded. "All right."
