Chapter 574: New Mommy

Elliot furrowed his brows. "How could that be? I've never sleepwalked before."

Nathaniel didn't reply, simply stating, "Get ready to come with me to the office."

"Okay," Elliot responded, instantly brightening.

Cecilia, informed of the office visit, offered only a cautionary reminder about his safety.

Throughout the car ride, Elliot happily gazed out the window. An hour later, they arrived at a luxurious office building. Seeing Imminence Corporation, a sense of familiarity washed over him.

"Isn't this the company Jon mentioned? They've made significant profits recently and acquired many businesses," he remarked. The Rainsworth family was also investigating the company, seeking its puppet master.

"Mr. Rainsworth, is this your company?" Elliot asked.

"Yeah, what's the matter?" Nathaniel replied.

"It's so big," Elliot said sincerely, a secret understanding dawning on him.

"How does it compare to your daddy's company?" Nathaniel asked seriously.

Elliot deliberately replied, "Of course, my daddy's company is much larger. Compared to him, you still have a long way to go." Nathaniel largely ignored the comment.

Lacking time, Nathaniel assigned a female secretary to accompany Elliot. She greeted him with a bright smile. "Hey kid, how are you? What's your name?" A strong scent of perfume surrounded her.

Elliot disliked her immediately. "I'm Eli," he responded indifferently, surveying the company premises. The company's vastness and diverse holdings impressed him. He won't have any issue supporting me, Jon, and Mommy in the future.

However, the numerous attractive female secretaries concerned him.

"Sweetie, would you like me to take you to the playground?" the secretary offered.

Elliot refused. "No, I'm staying at the office. I want to take a look around."

The secretary, mindful of his age, gave him a brief tour before attempting to pry into his personal life. "Eli, who's your daddy?"

Confused, Elliot countered, "Why are you asking this?"

She asked directly, "Is it Mr. Sinclair?" Having only seen Zachary at the office, she assumed a father-son relationship.

Elliot, understanding her motives, nodded. "Yes, Zachary is my daddy."

Her surprise was evident. "Then, who's your mother?"

Elliot, sensing her intentions, said, "My mommy is just an ordinary person. Even if I told you, you wouldn't know her."

Her eyes lit up. "Eli, do you like me? How about I become your new mommy?"

Elliot recognized her ulterior motives. He found himself in a difficult situation.

"You can take me to meet your daddy," he suggested. The secretary rarely saw Zachary and found it difficult to interact with him.

"Sure, but I'm hungry right now," she replied, taking him to a high-end restaurant and showering him with expensive toys.

Mason later found Elliot laden with toys. The secretary laughed, "Eli is so adorable. I just had to buy him some toys."

Mason disapproved of her actions. "I'll transfer the money to your account."

She refused, her gaze lingering on Elliot.

Elliot smiled. "Thank you for your gifts. Once I get home, I'll tell my mommy about your wish to become my new mommy." His voice carried, drawing curious glances from nearby colleagues.
