Chapter 86: Stay at My Place Tonight

The card in North's hand was a nine; Gwen's was a three, and Pamela's an eight. Raven had to choose one to kiss.

"Damn it! Who are you going to choose, Sir Raven?" Everyone urged him.

Gwen's excitement was palpable. She'd actually gotten a three. North, Raven's younger sister, was out of the running. Pamela, however, now liked Elvis.

Gwen believed Raven would kiss her. Her eyes shone, and she looked at him shyly.

North tossed her card onto the table, smiling. "Bro, I'm your sister; ignore me. You only need to choose between Pamela and Gwen."

Raven looked at North, who smiled at him like the others. "Sir Raven, have you decided?"

Raven stood and walked over. Gwen saw Elvis approaching her; her heart skipped a beat. But Raven passed her and went to Pamela. Gwen's face paled; she looked at Pamela jealously.

Pamela noticed Gwen's gaze, but had no time to dwell on it. Her attention was on the tall figure before her. Though Elvis was her current target, she was also attracted to Raven. After Elvis had publicly humiliated her, she saw this as a chance to restore her reputation. Even without Elvis, she was satisfied with Raven's attention.

"It seems my brother still likes Pamela, Gwen. Aren't you just pitiful?" North whispered for Gwen to hear.

Gwen, initially despondent, now looked resolute. She glared fiercely at North.

Raven walked past Pamela, showing no intention of stopping. Pamela's face blanched; Raven didn't want to kiss her. He was heading straight for North.

Pamela felt her palms sweat. In one evening, she'd been rejected by two men.

North watched as Raven approached. She started to move, but he was already there, propping himself on the table. His lips lightly touched her forehead—a gentle kiss. He had chosen North.

Pamela and Gwen watched as the handsome man in a black coat enveloped the beautiful girl in an intensely possessive embrace. His kisses lingered on her forehead, silent yet hesitant. The scene felt familiar.

Even after all these years, Raven and North hadn't changed. He still protectively claimed her, keeping her close.

North tried to push him away, but Raven released her only to take her hand. "Everyone, enjoy the game. It's late; we're leaving."

Raven pulled North away, his long strides causing her to stumble. "What are you doing? I'll go myself. Let me go!"

He dragged her out of the bar and opened the car door. "Get in, or I'll help you."

Sensing his volatile temper, North got into the passenger seat. Raven drove off. North looked at her wrist; he'd pulled her hard, leaving it red.

Realizing they weren't going to her apartment, she turned to him. "Where are you taking me? I want to go home!"

Without looking, he said, "Olive drank that drink. I'm not convinced you didn't too. You're staying with me tonight."

"I think you're more dangerous than that drink," North muttered.

Raven squinted, looking at North's face. "I couldn't forget that night. I really wish to relive those memories."

"Go away!" North yelled, eyes reddening.

Raven pursed his lips, the atmosphere growing tense. "Where are you taking me? I don't want to be away from home. Do you understand? Park the car; I want to go home." North pushed the passenger door. Raven had already locked it.

"I'll take you back to my villa afterward," Raven said quietly.

North eventually calmed down and sat silently as he drove.

Banana Villa. The Domino family estate. For years, the Dominos had been real estate leaders. After moving out of the family mansion, Raven lived here alone.

He led North into the villa. At the entrance, he placed a pair of flip-flops at her feet. "Put them on."

North stepped back, refusing. "I'm not wearing another woman's property."

Raven knelt, his fingers gripping her ankle, and unfastened her high heels. "North, don't make trouble. They're clean; no one else has worn them."

North watched as he knelt to change her shoes. After removing her heels, he held her foot for a moment. The moment his calloused fingers touched her, North recoiled as if electrocuted. She slipped into the flip-flops, cursing, "Pervert!"

Raven stood and entered the living room, removing his coat and throwing it on the sofa. He looked back at her. "Go upstairs and take a shower."

North hurried upstairs. Downstairs, Raven worked on documents on his phone. Then, North's voice called from above, "Bro, I borrowed your shirt."
