Chapter 240 Sweet Time (1)

Olive lay in his embrace, gazing up at him. Her Mr. Augustine remained unchanged. He was in excellent shape, free from any disability. Olive prayed her grandmother would be reassured seeing Elvin like this.

Elvis looked down at the girl in his arms. Olive appeared remarkably docile and gentle. His good health pleased her. He remembered when she was his wife; she would curl up in his arms like a cat, vowing her love and protection.

Elvis's rough hand gently touched her red lips, caressing them softly. Olive raised herself and kissed his cheek.

"Are you and Marvin together?" Elvis suddenly asked, his voice hoarse. He was still pondering this, remembering photos he'd seen. Among them were pictures of him standing in a dimly lit corner, watching Marvin enter her room. At that time, Elvis had clenched his fist; the veins in his hands were clearly visible. He'd clearly wanted to rush in and confront Marvin, but he'd controlled himself, exerting tremendous willpower to restrain his impulse.

Olive playfully winked and whispered, "I won't tell you."

Elvis stared at her, his eyes burning. However, he soon released her and stood up. Olive quickly grasped his sleeve.

"Mr. Augustine, why are you reacting this way? Do you want to know the answer? You can find it out yourself."

Elvis turned to look at her. In fact, he'd already gleaned the answer from her sweet, shy expression. Nothing had happened between her and Marvin. Olive had challenged him to verify it himself. Elvis swallowed hard. He was a man, and Olive was the woman he loved. Lust filled his eyes, yet he couldn't. The honeymoon lasted only five days. After five days, she would fly to Imperial to begin her new life. He dared not violate her innocence. He had endured so long; he couldn't falter now.

Elvis stretched out his hand and disengaged her fingers from his sleeve. "I know. I'm going to take a shower."

Olive refused to let go, instead pulling him. "Mr. Augustine, you've changed. Don't you want to touch me anymore?"

Elvis stared at her persistent, saddened face. "Olive, you'll meet a better man in the future."

Chapter 240 Sweet Time (Continued)

"No, you're the best," Olive argued.

"Olive, don't be so willful," Elvis said, pulling her fingers from his arm. The difference in strength between men and women was significant. Despite Olive's efforts, he pulled his hand away, turning toward the bathroom.

After two steps, a pillow flew over, hitting him on the back of the head. Olive's angry, indignant voice echoed, "I knew I couldn't help you. What a fool I am to think I could fix you. Other women can try their luck in the future!"

Enraged, Olive leaped from the bed. Elvis ignored her and continued walking to the bathroom. Olive rushed to intercept him, blocking his path. A noticeable height difference existed; she had to raise her head to meet his gaze.

"This is my bathroom. You're not allowed in!" Olive declared, glaring at him.

Elvis grabbed her, and in a second, he'd thrown her onto the large, soft bed. He knelt, propping himself up on one hand beside her, and grasped her face with the other.

"Mrs. Augustine, why are you being so shameless? This is your boudoir, and all you're doing is pestering a man for pleasure. Isn't that shameful?"

Olive fought to maintain her fierce demeanor but soon faltered. His imposing figure enveloped her petite frame. His boldnessโ€”hugging and grasping her faceโ€”was typical overbearing CEO behavior.

"Let me go!" Olive pushed him.

Elvis kissed her neck and asked, "When you were sleeping on this bed as a child, did you ever think about who your man would be?"

Olive offered a sweet smile. Elvis captured her small hand. Olive, realizing his intentions, tried to shake him off, but to no avail.

When Elvis emerged from the shower, Olive was still lying on the bed. He approached and carefully wiped her hands with a towel, then leaned down and kissed her cheek.

"Don't be angry," Elvis's voice, tinged with joy, was remarkably magnetic.

Olive closed her eyes and pushed him away. She covered her head with a blanket and half-shouted, "Go away! I don't want to see you!"

"You really don't want to see me? Then I'm leaving."

Olive heard his footsteps fade. Quickly lifting the blanket, she sat up. The room was empty. He had truly left.

Panic began to set in. She leaped from the bed and rushed from the room, but couldn't find him. Where had he gone?
