Chapter 472: He Actually Drugged Himself
Peterson pondered, then said, โYoung master, while Miss Hart is intelligent, her escape is unlikely.โ
โNevertheless, let Ray follow her constantly. We must be more cautious. I want no accidents,โ Elvis ordered.
โYes, sir,โ Peterson nodded.
At dinner, the chef prepared a sumptuous meal. Elvis and Olive sat together; Crystal sat opposite, alone. Seeing the couple, she felt humiliated.
Mr. Mason entered with Charlotte. โMr. Augustine, I have a red wine Iโve been saving. Since youโre here, Iโve already had a waiter bring it.โ
A waiter arrived with the wine, skillfully opening and pouring it. Olive briefly glanced at him before looking away.
Mr. Mason raised his glass. โTo many more pleasant years.โ
โTo many more years,โ Elvis echoed, taking a sip. Crystal and Charlotte watched, anticipating the drugโs delayed effect. Their plan was to send Olive away after dinner, allowing Crystal to sleep with Elvis. Crystal smiled, winking at Charlotte.
Elvis finished his wine, then suddenly pulled Oliveโs hand to his face. โOlive, Iโm so hot,โ he mumbled.
Olive checked his pulse. โDid you eat something youโre allergic to?โ she asked.
โNothing. Only this wine,โ Elvis said, pointing to his glass. โSomethingโs wrong with this wine!โ
Crystal and Charlotteโs faces fell. The drugโs rapid onset surprised them.
Mr. Mason stood. โMr. Augustine, do you meanโฆ someone spiked your wine?โ
โDo I need to answer that?โ Elvis stood, kicking the table and sending dishes flying. The food and drink landed on Crystal and Charlotte.
โMy goodness!โ they screamed, their dresses stained.
โMr. Augustine!โ Charlotte yelled, suspecting Elvisโs actions were deliberate. But meeting his gaze, she calmed.
โMr. Mason, somethingโs wrong with the wine. I was drugged at your resort. Care to explain?โ Elvis glared at Mr. Mason.
Mr. Mason looked at the waiter, who guiltily sought help from Charlotte. She avoided his gaze.
Olive, who had been silent, said, โMr. Mason, this waiter served the wine, but he wouldnโt dare drug Mr. Augustine without orders. A proper interrogation will reveal the truth.โ
Mr. Mason ordered his bodyguards, โLock him up and interrogate him.โ Then, to Elvis, โMr. Augustine, donโt worry, Iโll find out whoโs responsible.โ
โOkay,โ Elvis said, taking Olive upstairs.
Crystalโs eyes narrowed. Elvis was drugged, yet he was taking Olive upstairs? She, the one who drugged him, should be the one with him!
โElvis, wait for me!โ Crystal followed.
In the hallway, Olive stopped at the presidential suiteโs door.
Elvis paused. โOlive, whatโs wrong?โ
โElvis, Crystal and Charlotte drugged you. You knew, so why drink the wine?โ
Elvis knew he couldnโt hide anything from her. His lustful eyes narrowed. โOlive, thatโs not important. I feel terrible.โ
Olive felt his burning skin. Heโd drugged himself. He was insane.
โElvis, what do you want?โ Olive asked.
โOlive, I want you,โ he whispered.
Olive tried to pull away. โElvis, youโre despicable! Youโre trying to force me.โ
Crystal approached, wearing a revealing dress. Her gaze was seductive.
Elvis held Oliveโs wrist. โOlive, someoneโs looking at me. Hold onto me.โ
Oliveโs face was pale as she pushed him away.
โOlive, no!โ Elvis resisted.
Olive pried his fingers open and firmly pushed him away, entering the suite and closing the door.
