Chapter 472: He Actually Drugged Himself

Peterson pondered, then said, โ€œYoung master, while Miss Hart is intelligent, her escape is unlikely.โ€

โ€œNevertheless, let Ray follow her constantly. We must be more cautious. I want no accidents,โ€ Elvis ordered.

โ€œYes, sir,โ€ Peterson nodded.

At dinner, the chef prepared a sumptuous meal. Elvis and Olive sat together; Crystal sat opposite, alone. Seeing the couple, she felt humiliated.

Mr. Mason entered with Charlotte. โ€œMr. Augustine, I have a red wine Iโ€™ve been saving. Since youโ€™re here, Iโ€™ve already had a waiter bring it.โ€

A waiter arrived with the wine, skillfully opening and pouring it. Olive briefly glanced at him before looking away.

Mr. Mason raised his glass. โ€œTo many more pleasant years.โ€

โ€œTo many more years,โ€ Elvis echoed, taking a sip. Crystal and Charlotte watched, anticipating the drugโ€™s delayed effect. Their plan was to send Olive away after dinner, allowing Crystal to sleep with Elvis. Crystal smiled, winking at Charlotte.

Elvis finished his wine, then suddenly pulled Oliveโ€™s hand to his face. โ€œOlive, Iโ€™m so hot,โ€ he mumbled.

Olive checked his pulse. โ€œDid you eat something youโ€™re allergic to?โ€ she asked.

โ€œNothing. Only this wine,โ€ Elvis said, pointing to his glass. โ€œSomethingโ€™s wrong with this wine!โ€

Crystal and Charlotteโ€™s faces fell. The drugโ€™s rapid onset surprised them.

Mr. Mason stood. โ€œMr. Augustine, do you meanโ€ฆ someone spiked your wine?โ€

โ€œDo I need to answer that?โ€ Elvis stood, kicking the table and sending dishes flying. The food and drink landed on Crystal and Charlotte.

โ€œMy goodness!โ€ they screamed, their dresses stained.

โ€œMr. Augustine!โ€ Charlotte yelled, suspecting Elvisโ€™s actions were deliberate. But meeting his gaze, she calmed.

โ€œMr. Mason, somethingโ€™s wrong with the wine. I was drugged at your resort. Care to explain?โ€ Elvis glared at Mr. Mason.

Mr. Mason looked at the waiter, who guiltily sought help from Charlotte. She avoided his gaze.

Olive, who had been silent, said, โ€œMr. Mason, this waiter served the wine, but he wouldnโ€™t dare drug Mr. Augustine without orders. A proper interrogation will reveal the truth.โ€

Mr. Mason ordered his bodyguards, โ€œLock him up and interrogate him.โ€ Then, to Elvis, โ€œMr. Augustine, donโ€™t worry, Iโ€™ll find out whoโ€™s responsible.โ€

โ€œOkay,โ€ Elvis said, taking Olive upstairs.

Crystalโ€™s eyes narrowed. Elvis was drugged, yet he was taking Olive upstairs? She, the one who drugged him, should be the one with him!

โ€œElvis, wait for me!โ€ Crystal followed.

In the hallway, Olive stopped at the presidential suiteโ€™s door.

Elvis paused. โ€œOlive, whatโ€™s wrong?โ€

โ€œElvis, Crystal and Charlotte drugged you. You knew, so why drink the wine?โ€

Elvis knew he couldnโ€™t hide anything from her. His lustful eyes narrowed. โ€œOlive, thatโ€™s not important. I feel terrible.โ€

Olive felt his burning skin. Heโ€™d drugged himself. He was insane.

โ€œElvis, what do you want?โ€ Olive asked.

โ€œOlive, I want you,โ€ he whispered.

Olive tried to pull away. โ€œElvis, youโ€™re despicable! Youโ€™re trying to force me.โ€

Crystal approached, wearing a revealing dress. Her gaze was seductive.

Elvis held Oliveโ€™s wrist. โ€œOlive, someoneโ€™s looking at me. Hold onto me.โ€

Oliveโ€™s face was pale as she pushed him away.

โ€œOlive, no!โ€ Elvis resisted.

Olive pried his fingers open and firmly pushed him away, entering the suite and closing the door.
