Chapter 34: Take Off the Mask

Before Olive could move, Elvis casually flung all his cards onto the table. The cards slapped down with a sharp sound, causing the greasy boss to tremble. Though Elvis remained impassive, his every expression was carefully observed; he commanded a silent reverence.

The lively luxury room fell instantly quiet. The greasy boss looked at Elvis flatteringly. "Boss Augustine..."

Elvis glanced at the beautiful woman beside him. "Go out and have some fun."

Though reluctant, she dared not disobey and quickly left the room.

Elvis lifted his eyelids, his gaze cold and piercing, fixing on the sweating boss. The boss, understanding Elvis's interest in Olive, quickly interjected, "Little beauty, you've lost the game and owe ten million dollars. Boss Augustine, the richest man here, will pay your debt if you please him."

Olive stood, picked up a glass of wine, and addressed Elvis. "Mr. Augustine, let me offer you a toast."

Elvis replied, "If you respect me, then I'll drink." He did not drink, signaling his displeasure. Her hand froze.

"Beauty, countless women would jump at the chance to please Boss Augustine. Show some sincerity," the greasy boss urged.

"Right, girl. President Augustine won't drink if you're not sincere," added one of the men.

Before Olive's arrival, Elvis had only smoked and played cards. Now, his interest was obvious. No one dared approach the woman who had caught his eye. Olive knitted her brows, resolving to try her best.

"Mr. Augustine, what do you want? Tell me your request. If I can, I will," she declared.

Elvis grabbed her wrist, pulling her onto his lap. Fortunately, little wine spilled. Olive felt the strength of his muscles beneath her, a stark contrast to her own delicate frame. Her face flushed as she started to rise, "President Augustineโ€”"

He interrupted. "Hey. Feed me wine."

Olive's eyes widened at his ambiguous request. He looked at her; she seemed less stubborn, almost silly and cute. "Do you understand me, or do you not want to? Get off my lap if you don't want to."

He had initiated this closeness, and he was also the one to dismiss her.

Olive was silent for a moment. "I'm not leaving. I'll feed you."

She raised the glass to his lips. Elvis supported her waist, slowly drinking the red wine, his gaze fixed on her. Harry clapped.

"Okay, bro drank the wine. But what about the ten million?" Harry asked, his question echoed by the others.

"Ten million isn't a small amount. Beauty, ask Boss Augustine to help you pay it," someone suggested.

"Of course, ten million is a pittance for Boss Augustine," the greasy boss said. "But he expects value for his money. You need to offer President Augustine a very appealing deal."

Harry chuckled, "All the girls here in KissLand have their prices. Each service has a different price. Take a look at the price list."

Someone passed the price list to Olive. Ten million dollars could buy fifty KissLand beauties for a night.

Olive quickly closed the list. She felt trapped, surrounded by adversaries. She tried to stand, but Elvis held her waist firmly, confining her in his embrace.

"Olive, am I too used to you? I let you come and go as you please."

Olive looked at him. "How about I stay here with you tonight, or go back to the hotel with you?"

Elvis curled his lip into a smirk. "You choose." His eyes fell on her mask. "You choose neither. Just take off your mask." He'd wanted to remove it before, but she'd refused. This time was different; he was determined to see her face.

Olive saw the unyielding resolve in his eyes. She sneered. "Boss Augustine, seeing my face is worth ten million. If I'm ugly, it's your loss."

Elvis smiled. "I don't regret my money. What are you sorry for?"

Olive considered, then said, "If you want to see it, I'll show you."

She had agreed. Elvis signaled to Harry, who quickly dismissed everyone. Olive had cherished masks since childhood. Elvisโ€™s curiosity burned. Was she beautiful, or a fright?

Olive slowly removed her mask. For the first time, Elvis saw her entire face. Her brows were slightly furrowed, her eyes bright and captivating, her nose delicate and refined. Her beauty was breathtaking.
