Chapter 553: Cute Twins

Elvis looked at Lil’ Nathan, his son’s thoughtful expression evident. “Are you really going to Greenland?” he asked. Lil’ Nathan nodded, “Yeah.” Elvis walked to the French window; the bright sunlight outside bathed him in a golden hue. After a long moment, he said calmly, “Curiosity killed the cat. Nathan, there are things I don’t tell you—it’s a form of protection.”

“Dad, I told you, it’s your choice whether to tell me or not. But I’ll find out. That’s my choice. We won’t interfere with each other.”

Elvis snorted, then quietly looked at the boy. “Three years ago, your mother abandoned me and ran off with another man. She had a child with him; that child is in Greenland—your half-brother.”

Lil’ Nathan’s delicate eyebrows twitched. He clearly hadn’t considered the possibility of half-siblings. Elvis hadn’t intended to reveal this, but his son’s high IQ made it inevitable; better to tell him and let him prepare mentally.

“Nathan, are you still going to Greenland?”

Lil’ Nathan looked up. “Yes. Why not? Dad, leave that love rival to me, and leave that child to me, too.”

Elvis remained silent. Olive had left him again, leaving him and Nathan to find Derrick Domino and the child in Greenland. He and Nathan didn't exist in her heart; she'd slipped away even while in his arms. He felt…tired. He turned towards the bathroom. “Clean up. Prepare to fly to Greenland.”

Elvis arrived in Greenland that afternoon. In the airport lobby, he parted ways with Lil’ Nathan. Aiden said respectfully, “Young master, the master is in Greenland as well. He hasn’t seen Nathan in a long time, so I’d like to take Nathan to see him.” The “master” was Alpha. Elvis’s eyes flickered. Three years ago, Olive had left, and Damien and Alpha, once prominent businessmen, vanished. Alpha’s sudden presence in Greenland was unusual.

“My dad’s in Greenland. What about Mr. Robert? Is he there too?” Elvis asked.

Aiden nodded. “Yes, Mr. Augustine and Mr. Robert are both here.” Only an old acquaintance from twenty years past could have alerted and gathered these two men. It seemed Olive’s Greenland trip involved Joyce Brown and even his mother, Anabelle Midas.

Elvis glanced at Lil’ Nathan. “Nathan, be good.”

“Okay. Goodbye, Dad,” Lil’ Nathan replied, departing with Aiden.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the lobby, a crowd gathered around a pair of adorable babies, snapping photos with their phones. “Oh my god, whose twins are so cute! I want to pinch their little faces!” someone exclaimed. “Are they child actresses? If I had such good-looking children, I'd keep having them until I couldn't anymore!”

The twins were Levi and Ivy, Elvis and Olive’s other son and daughter. Their striking appearance rivaled Nathan's, causing quite a stir.

“Bro, I want that lollipop,” Ivy said, pointing at a beautiful lollipop in a shop window. Ivy, a little girl, inherited Olive’s beauty. While her features were still developing, her potential was undeniable. In her pink dress and small purse, with her hair in two braids, she looked like a little doll. Lollipops were her weakness; she couldn't resist them.

Levi, a boy, resembled his mother, Olive, and possessed striking handsomeness. Unlike Lil’ Nathan's CEO-like demeanor, Levi was the kind of boy people cautioned, “Little brother, promise me you’ll never become a scumbag.” He was used to this kind of attention. When Ivy wanted the lollipop, he immediately stopped. “Ivy, stay here. I’ll buy it for you.”

Ivy’s eyes widened; she nodded vigorously. “Yes, thank you, bro.”

As Levi walked towards the store, he felt a sudden, sharp pang in his chest, like a telepathic pull. He looked up and saw a group of people in the VIP aisle. Aiden and several bodyguards followed respectfully behind Lil’ Nathan, who walked ahead, his face delicate yet cold. A passerby commented, “Whose child is that? So extraordinary.”

Levi couldn’t see Nathan’s face, but he saw his back. Could it be…his brother? He knew he had a brother, given away at birth by his mother. Perhaps due to shared parentage, seeing Nathan caused his heart to race, a feeling defying scientific explanation. He rushed towards Nathan.

Ivy, seeing her brother run off, cried out worriedly, “Bro, where are you going? Bro~ Bro~”

Ivy chased after Levi, but her small legs couldn't keep up; he soon disappeared. “Bro- Bro- Boohoo-” Startled, she burst into tears, rubbing her eyes. She’d also lost one of her small leather shoes.

Crying, she bumped into someone’s leg, stopping abruptly. A deep, magnetic voice sounded above her. “Little girl, are you alright?”
