Chapter 589: He is a beast in human disguise

Olive was threatened. She'd always been shy around men and women, blushing easily when teased. Now, Elvis had locked her in a locker room and made an inappropriate advance, violating her boundaries. Angrily, Olive bit his shoulder. Elvis cried out in pain, his narrow eyes flaring bright red. He squeezed her waist, forcefully pushing her against the door with a bang and a scream.

This commotion attracted Liam and Clara. Their gazes fell upon the closed dressing room door. Clara asked, "Hey, is Olive changing her wedding dress inside?" Liam approached, inquiring, "Olive, is that you?"

Olive quickly released her grip. She'd bitten Elvis, but his dramatic reaction struck her as arrogant. She lied, "King of Golden City, it's me. I... I'm changing my wedding dress. Itโ€ฆ it doesn't seem to fit."

Liam hesitated, then asked, "Do you need help?" Olive hastily refused, "No, I'll try again." He left, and as his footsteps faded, Olive relaxed. But her respite was short-lived; Elvis bent to kiss her again. She pushed him away, "Elvis, be careful! Don't leave a mark; I have wedding photos later."

He glared, "I missed you all night last night, and I'm frustrated. Now, open my belt!"

Liam sat on the sofa, reading the newspaper and patiently waiting for Olive. Clara, however, was impatient. She checked her watch, "Bro, Olive's been in there ten minutes."

Liam, without looking up, responded, "Trying on wedding clothes takes time, Clara. Are you more impatient than the groom?" This silenced her.

A click. The dressing room door opened, and Olive emerged. Clara rushed over, "Olive, why aren't you wearing the dress?"

Olive had changed back into her own clothes. "The wedding dress is too small."

Liam approached, observing Olive. Her face was flushed, her whole being radiating a captivating allure. He'd never seen her like this. Usually smart, calm, and brave, she now possessed a gentle radiance that captivated him. He narrowed his eyes, unconvinced that she'd been alone.

He glanced at the now-empty dressing room. The lack of any disturbance seemed suspicious. Olive hadn't changed there. Who was the man? He wondered what kind of man could command the attention of the elegant Princess of Visionary.

Clara giggled, "Olive, how could your wedding dress be too small? Maybe... you gained weight?" Olive ignored her.

Liam intervened, "Olive, there's still time. I'll have the designer adjust the dress. Let's go take the wedding photos."

"Okay, I'll go to the bathroom first," Olive replied, escaping to the restroom. There, she scrubbed her hands, unable to erase the memory of the encounter. Elvis! Embarrassed and angry, she composed herself and left.

Outside, she spotted Elvis standing with Liam. Clara was delighted to see him, her admiration evident. Liam noticed Olive and introduced Elvis, "Olive, this is Mr. Augustine. We met today."

Olive's gaze locked on Elvis. He'd shed his earlier intensity, appearing handsome, dignified, and aloof. "Clothed beast," she thought. She greeted him politely, "Mr. Augustine, hello. I didn't expect to see you here."

Elvis, in a good mood, raised an eyebrow, "Princess of Visionary, haven't we just met?" The air thickened.

Clara interjected, "President Augustine, Olive, where did you meet?"

Olive glared at Elvis; he was taunting her. "Mr. Augustine, you're mistaken. We haven't seen each other."

Elvis smirked, glancing at her slightly disheveled hair, "Whatever you say."

Olive felt her temper rise. Liam's gaze was intense, certain now that Elvis was the man with Olive in the dressing room. Clara also sensed the unspoken tension between them.

Clara enthusiastically invited them to the beach for the wedding photos. Olive silently glared at her. Was she really going to take wedding photos?
