Chapter 611: Legendary and Beautiful Woman

Luana urgently pleaded, “My lord, Prince Aaron and I are innocent! The Princess of Visionary slandered us. You must believe us!”

Logan addressed Olive, “Princess of Visionary, you suspect Luana and Aaron are having an affair. Do you have proof?”

Olive shook her head. “No, I don’t.”

Aaron and Luana breathed a sigh of relief. Their lives had been spared, at least for now.

“But,” Olive continued, “Mr. Theodore, the heir is a matter of utmost importance. Concubine Luana has been pregnant with twins for over six months. A simple fetal blood draw, followed by a DNA paternity test comparing it to Prince Aaron’s blood, will resolve this.”

Taking fetal blood? A DNA paternity test?

The reprieve Aaron and Luana had felt was short-lived; their faces paled. Their carefully laid plans had crumbled, and all eyes were upon them.

Molly, silently observing, reached a swift conclusion. These two were undeniably having an affair. The revelation was dizzying; she knew her son's amorous nature, but an affair with his father's concubine was unthinkable.

Molly interjected hastily, “My lord, taking fetal blood is extremely dangerous and must be carefully considered…”

Olive interrupted, “Princess, Concubine Molly, there is no danger. This is a modern scientific method. I will take full responsibility for any complications.”

“But…” Molly began, but Olive pressed on.

“Molly, your attempts to obstruct this are highly suspicious. Do you know something about Luana and Prince Aaron?” Olive’s lips tightened.

Molly’s face changed. “Princess of Visionary, don’t speak nonsense!”

Joyce then addressed Logan, “Mr. Theodore, this fetal blood draw is imperative. Otherwise, the public ridicule will be unbearable. Do you intend to raise another man’s children as your own?”

A chorus of voices rose, “My lord, please allow the Princess of Visionary to proceed!”

A chilling threat echoed, “If the twins are the king’s, all is well. But if not… both mother and child will be killed on the spot!”

The words struck Luana to her core, nearly causing her to collapse.

Liam then whispered to Olive, “Princess of Visionary, whose children are in Luana’s womb?”

Olive raised a perfectly sculpted eyebrow. “Actually… I don’t know.”

Liam was momentarily stunned. “Princess of Visionary, you’ve gambled incredibly high this time.”

Olive, radiant in her white tulle gown, remained composed. “Whose twins these are, I’m afraid even Concubine Luana isn’t certain. King of Gold City, today’s engagement party is my second gift to you.”

Liam observed the enigmatic sparkle in Olive’s eyes, a captivating mystery. The closer he got, the more alluring the enigma became.

“Is that so?” Liam chuckled.

“King of Gold City, let’s send Molly and Aaron to their doom. It’s time.”

Liam’s pulse quickened. The Princess of Visionary had only just arrived in Greenland, yet she already commanded such influence. Molly’s years of maneuvering in the Greenland Palace were about to be undone. This Visionary princess was truly exceptional.

Liam nodded. “Very well. I await the gift.”

Logan's face darkened. “Princess of Visionary, proceed. If the twins are not mine, they all die!” His gaze burned into Luana.

Luana froze. A memory resurfaced – a palace maid brutally murdered, the horrifying scene indelibly etched in her mind. She would not suffer the same fate.

Olive approached, a slender finger holding a needle. “Luana, don’t be afraid. My movements will be gentle. Cooperate, and neither you nor the twins will be harmed.”

Luana, initially hating Olive, now saw her as a malevolent force to be avoided.

“No! Don’t!” Luana cried, fleeing to Aaron for protection. “Aaron, save me! Save our babies! These twins are yours!”

An uproar erupted. Luana’s confession had been involuntary, preceding Olive’s actions.

Liam again glanced at Olive, her composure unwavering.

Years later, Liam would watch Olive claim her crown, revitalize Visionary, lead the wolf horsemen, her beauty and grace a timeless legend. He had never encountered a woman so legendary, so elegant.

Aaron's face contorted in panic. He pushed Luana away. “Luana, are you mad? How can these twins be mine? Stop this nonsense!”

Luana insisted, “Prince Aaron, they are yours! I remember that night clearly. You came while I was serving the king… and then we were together.”

“The king’s health has been poor, thanks to Molly’s medicine. I was never satisfied with him. Prince Aaron, I love you. We were happy together. You said that once the king died, you'd ascend the throne, and I'd be queen consort!”
