Chapter 622 Face Change!

Clara screamed, shocked and incredulous. She glared at the person who had poured water on her, never expecting Olive to appear so swiftly and drench her with cold water. Olive stood by the door, a wooden barrel in her hand.

After the water splashed Clara, Olive covered her red lips, gasping, โ€œOh, my god!โ€ Then, in a panic, she covered her eyes. โ€œTiffany, I didnโ€™t see anything! I definitely didnโ€™t see you taking off your clothes and hugging a man. Excuse me, please continue!โ€ Olive turned and fled.

Clara was furiously dumbfounded. โ€œHelp! Somebody, help!โ€ she cried, wanting to summon her maid to reprimand Olive. But Olive had already rushed outside, attracting a crowd. Concerned, people asked, โ€œMiss Hart, what happened?โ€

Panic-stricken, Olive replied, almost in tears, โ€œItโ€™s on fire! Claraโ€™s room is on fire!โ€

On fire?

Everyone grabbed buckets and rushed to Claraโ€™s room with water. Clara, furious, longed to punish Olive, who watched the commotion from outside before leaving.

Soon, steady footsteps approached, and her slender wrist was seized. Elvis had arrived. He pressed her into a dark corner. Though he skillfully dodged her rush, his black clothes and pants were soaked, clinging to his tall, straight frame. Water still dripped from him.

Olive smiled, her red lips and white teeth visible. Elvis rested a large hand on the wall beside her head.

โ€œItโ€™s her, not me. Why are you throwing water on me?โ€ Elvis asked, unhappy.

In the dim light, Olive blinked. โ€œYou like her, donโ€™t you?โ€

โ€œHuh?โ€ Elvis chuckled deeply. โ€œOlive, admit itโ€”youโ€™re jealous!โ€

Olive looked up. โ€œElvis, what you told me last timeโ€ฆwas it true or false?โ€

Elvis leaned closer, brushing her red lips with his fingers. โ€œWhy are you asking again?โ€ he asked with a smile.

Olive pressed her hands against his chest. โ€œLast time, you said those women over the past three years were all fake, rumors. Are you lying to me?โ€

โ€œYou really want to know the truth?โ€

โ€œYes,โ€ Olive nodded.

Elvis feigned thought. โ€œWhy should I tell you? Itโ€™s fine if you want to know, but you have to show your interest.โ€

โ€œHow?โ€

โ€œTonight, letโ€™s sleep together, and Iโ€™ll tell you.โ€

โ€œNo,โ€ Olive vehemently refused.

Elvis cupped her chin with slender fingers. โ€œOlive, are you really not interested in what happened in my life these past three years? I canโ€™t force you. Think carefully.โ€

With that, Elvis left.

Olive glared at his handsome back. She was intensely curious about those three years apart. Initially, she assumed romantic relationships; she believed reconciliation was impossible.

But his statement about the women being fake made her heart leapโ€”a glimmer of hope emerged. She needed the truth.

Olive hesitated before deciding to find him. She wanted answers, and she needed to tell him about Levi, Nathan, and Ivy. He was their father and deserved to know. Levi and Ivy were growing up, Ivy especially longing for her fatherโ€™s presence. A fatherโ€™s love was irreplaceable; she wanted her children to have their father in their lives. Olive had much to tell Elvis, especially about their children and the past three years.

Taking a deep breath, Olive approached the hut. Then, a familiar voice called, โ€œHer Royal Highness.โ€

Olive paused and turned. She saw Sadie, her female official.

But another person stood beside Sadie: Aunt Davina, who had kidnapped Sadie.

Oliveโ€™s eyes turned cold. Stepping forward, she smirked. โ€œAunt Davinaโ€ฆor should I call you Molly?โ€

Molly looked surprised, not expecting Olive to know her identity. โ€œHala, what a princess of Visionary. Never disappoints,โ€ Molly replied, chuckling slyly.

Sadie said anxiously, โ€œHer Royal Highness, our people have arrived, but Molly caught me. Princess, donโ€™t worry about me, donโ€™t be threatened by Mollyโ€ฆah!โ€

Before finishing, she screamed in pain. Olive saw a black, poisonous gas clinging to Sadieโ€™s face. Sadie had been poisoned.

โ€œMolly, what did you do to Sadie?โ€

Molly smiled sinisterly. โ€œNothing, except poison her. It wonโ€™t kill her immediately, but she needs an antidote daily. Otherwise, her face, skinโ€ฆevery inch of her flesh and blood will fester, corrode, and turn to a pool of blood.โ€

A sinister poison.

Oliveโ€™s face hardened. She glared. โ€œTell me, Molly, what do you want?โ€

โ€œSimple. Change your face.โ€ Molly said.

Olive frowned, silently waiting for Mollyโ€™s next words.
