Listen to this chapter:

Moments ago, Kyle had slapped Joe's face until it was swollen, twisted his arm, and dragged him out by the hair. The sight alone was enough to send shivers down anyone's spine.

But Faith didn't care how ruthless Kyle's actions were—her only concern was his safety.

"Mom, Dad, do you think Kyle will be in trouble? I should go check on him," Faith said, already moving to follow him.

Anthony quickly grabbed her arm. "Oh, my dear, haven't you realized? Kyle is practically a living god of death! Who could possibly threaten him?"

"Ilamone is in danger; it's the Basso family. Instead of worrying about Kyle, you should be wondering what kind of misery he's going to inflict on them."

Anthony added with a sigh, "Faith, if you want to be with Kyle, your mother and I certainly wouldn't object. He might be ruthless, but that man is no ordinary person."

Faith's cheeks flushed at Anthony's words. Biting her lip shyly, she murmured, "Mom, Dad, I do like Kyle, but we're just friends for now."

"Friends? What kind of friend gives you such expensive jewelry?"

"Exactly. Even at my age, I can tell that this set isn't cheap. You can't seriously be that naive."

Faith glanced at the jewelry, "Love for Faith," now sitting on the table. She picked it up, holding it gently against her chest. "Of course, I know that. He just doesn't want me to feel pressured, that's all."

Anthony nodded, a satisfied smile on his face, though his gaze suggested he was lost in thought.

Meanwhile, Joe's anguished screams echoed down the corridor. Even though it was clear Joe was being humiliated, no one dared to speak. Anyone capable of treating him this way was undoubtedly extraordinary.

When Grace Zeller, Joe's wife, and the Russo family's bodyguards arrived, they froze in shock. Without hesitation, they rushed forward, surrounding Kyle.

"What are you doing? Let go of my husband!" Grace yelled, pointing angrily at Kyle. "What are you standing there for? Can't you see he's attacking Mr. Basso? Get him! Beat him to death!"

Kyle chuckled, his expression calm. But his demeanor held an undeniable pressure that made the bodyguards hesitate.

Kyle raised his hand dismissively. "The hospital is no place for a scene. Let's take this inside. But if you're determined to make fools of yourselves here, that's fine too."

Grace glanced at the growing crowd of onlookers. Though humiliating, it wasn't wise to escalate matters in public without knowing who they were dealing with.

"Fine, come inside!" she snapped.

Kyle released Joe's hair, waving his hand as if brushing off dirt. Joe's already sparse hair was now practically nonexistent, his bald patch glaringly obvious.

As Kyle entered the hospital room, the bodyguards followed. Before anyone could speak, Kyle strolled up to the unconscious Peter and patted his face. "Hey, kid, stop pretending. Wake up. I'm here to—"

Joe, clutching his aching head, pointed at Kyle. "What the hell do you think you're doing?"

The bodyguards surged forward, fearing Kyle might harm the comatose Peter. Kyle tilted his head, his narrowed eyes glinting. Without a word, the intensity of his gaze made the bodyguards instinctively step back. Though they were Russo family bodyguards, they were just employees. Kyle had no grudge against them and chose not to make things difficult.

"No need to rush," Kyle said, his tone light but laced with danger. "We've got plenty of time. If we're going to play, let's play properly." He smiled playfully. "But first, we need Mr. Russo Jr. to wake up, don't we?"

In an unnerving move, Kyle slapped Peter across the face. The sound was sharp and deliberate. Peter's eyes snapped open, his face contorted in pain, though he seemed unable to speak.

Joe, completely losing it, pointed at Kyle. "If I don't kill you today, I have no right to call myself the head of the Russo family! Everyone, kill him! Beat him to death!"

The passage is significantly improved, though some ambiguities remain (e.g., the identities of Ilamone and Peter Russo Jr.). The original contained numerous spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors that have been corrected. The improved version maintains the dramatic tension of the original while being much easier to read and understand.
