Chapter 91

Henderson sat stiffly in Belle's office, his mind racing. He couldn't afford to bring Belle to Heavens Jewels. If the staff refused to waive the bill, and he couldn't pay for the jewelry, it would be utterly humiliating.

Even with the Khan name, his influence had limits. If the item were worth a few hundred thousand dollars, it might work, but a piece valued at $100 million? No one would grant him that kind of courtesy.

Belle noticed Henderson's subtle discomfort and quickly pieced things together. He was indeed part of the Khan bloodline, but his position was far from the core of the family's power.

Still, Belle maintained a polite demeanor, giving him the dignity he clearly needed. She waved her hand with a light smile. "Thank you, Mr. Khan, for your generosity. But as for that jewelry, I'll save up and buy it myself. Your thoughtfulness is more than enough. However, I do have another question…

"I was wondering—what if someone were to counterfeit that Snow White Love jewelry? What would happen then?"

Henderson immediately straightened up, his expression sharp. "Counterfeit it? Belle, if you know anything, just say it. Even if I can't handle it myself, I'll inform the group and my family. They'll take it very seriously.

"The jewelry displayed at Heavens Jewels is protected under ownership rights. If someone dares to counterfeit our exclusive designs, we'll hold them accountable. Anyone who copies Heavens Jewels is asking for trouble!"

Belle chuckled softly and shook her head. "It's nothing. I was just curious. Have some coffee, Mr. Khan. No need to get worked up."

At that moment, Justin and his men entered the office, their appearances disheveled and pitiful.

When Henderson saw them, his face immediately darkened, and his gaze turned icy. "Don't tell me you failed."

Justin clenched his jaw and nodded, his face pale and filled with tears. He had been so confident before, thinking it was a trivial task, but not only had they failed, they had thoroughly embarrassed themselves.

Henderson's glare could have burned a hole through him. If Belle hadn't been present, and if he wasn't trying to keep her from seeing his explosive temper, he might have beaten Justin to death on the spot for such incompetence.

"You've followed me for years, and you can't even handle something this small? Useless fool! If persuasion didn't work, why didn't you use force? Don't tell me you couldn't handle it with four or five men on your side?

"What happened? Were you outnumbered?" Henderson barked.

Justin shook his head lightly. "No. It was just one person."

"One person?" Henderson roared.

The sheer force of his voice sent chills down everyone's spines, even Chloe, who was merely observing from the side. The fury of a Khan family member was not to be taken lightly.

Henderson's face was cold as ice. "Someone dared to disrespect the Khan family? I'm genuinely curious to see who this so-called deity thinks they are!

"Let's go. I'll deal with him myself. I want to see how strong he is!" Henderson said, rising to his feet.

Belle also stood up, her expression calm. "Mr. Khan, do you need my assistance? Here in Kendonia, I might be able to help, whether it's something on the surface or behind the scenes. If it's something you can't handle directly, I can step in."

Henderson turned to Belle and smiled. "Thank you, Belle, but if I were to involve you in this, I'd lose face. Don't worry, if I need help, I won't hesitate to ask." Belle nodded lightly. "Alright. Take care, Mr. Khan."

"I'll lead out now. Once I've handled this, I'll come back, and we can spend more time together," Henderson said before storming out, Justin and his men trailing behind him like scolded dogs.

As soon as Henderson left, Belle's polite smile disappeared, replaced by a cold, grim expression. She pointed at the cup Henderson had used.

"Chloe, throw that cup away. I find it disgusting."
