Listen to this chapter:

Upon hearing Kyle’s remarks, Justin immediately stopped banging his hands on the floor. He clenched his fists so hard that his nails dug into his palms, and soon blood welled up.

Witnessing this, Henderson and the others were terrified, trembling in fear.

Earlier, at Kyle's place, Justin had spoken extensively about Kyle's prowess, but Henderson had been skeptical. Now, however, he could no longer defend his doubt. Kyle had merely pointed at Justin, and he was already in such a devastating state. The gas mask was utterly useless.

Kyle chuckled lightly, tossing a pill onto the floor. "You'd better grovel and apologize to my floor before crawling to the pill," he said. "You'll be fine if you take it."

Justin was beside himself. Groveling before the table would have been humiliating enough, but now he was forced to do so before Henderson and the others. If anyone found out, his reputation would be ruined.

However, he had no choice but to comply. The pain was excruciating; he was about to bite his tongue. He removed his gas mask, groveled, apologized, and crawled to the antidote, popping it into his mouth. Within two seconds, he collapsed, gasping for breath. The two minutes felt like a near-death experience.

Henderson immediately removed his gas mask, completely believing Kyle's earlier statement. He realized that if Kyle wanted to harm him, no protective gear would help.

"I'm impressed, Mr. Archer," Henderson said.

Kyle shook his head slightly. "I know what you're up to. Don't ask about Mr. Khan Senior's whereabouts. If you push me, your fate will be far worse than that man on the floor. You're his boss, after all."

Henderson's face fell.

Kyle continued, "If you're thinking of offering two million dollars for the shares, leave now. Otherwise, you won't escape."

Henderson cast a doubtful glance at Justin upon hearing the mention of two million dollars. Justin, shaking and tearful, dropped to his knees. "I was only trying to save you money, Mr. Khan! I swear—"

Before he could finish, Henderson kicked him hard, yelling, "You self-righteous idiot!"

He then turned to Kyle with a smile. "I apologize for the misunderstanding, Mr. Archer. Two million dollars is insufficient. I offer thirty million in cash, plus commercial properties and real estate valued at no less than fifty million dollars."

"Fifty million might seem little compared to the shares," Henderson continued, "but those shares are worthless in your hands and will only cause trouble. Hand them over, and you'll walk away with eighty million dollars, a good life, and a valuable friend like me. Isn't that the best deal?"

In stark contrast to the paltry two million dollars, Henderson's new proposal was significantly more enticing. Any ordinary person would have agreed. Yet, Kyle remained impassive. Henderson's gaze turned cold. "I have faith Mr. Archer will make the right decision."

Kyle chuckled without looking at him. "Eighty million, huh? Enough for a lifetime. I wonder just how generous the Khans can get."

It dawned on Henderson that Kyle was a formidable opponent, having already discerned the divisions within the Khan family. Kyle clapped his hands. "You know what you're doing, Mr. Archer. Let's cut to the chase. I'll give you two million dollars in exchange for the shares. After signing the transfer document, I'll wire the money. How does that sound?"

He continued, "You can spend this money on anything – high-end cars, mansions, beautiful women – it's yours. Isn't that more appealing than holding onto those shares?"

Kyle nodded thoughtfully. "It's tempting. I promised Mr. Khan Senior I'd look after Heavens Gate and the Paul family, so I must keep my word. And you're a small fish in their pond. The Khan family doesn't respect you. Come to my side instead. I'll give you a better position than you'll ever have as their minion. What do you say?"
